Bob, I came across this Tweet about an incident that took place in Manhattan. It really looks like things are heating up in your area. Are you okay? I was surprised to see this because I thought the worst was over as far as these riots go. I guess not. Things are quiet out in my area. Tim Pool (@timcast) Tweeted: BLM rioters surround an SUV, start deflating it's tires while yelling "pop is fucking tire" They then start beating on the car which pushes through and speeds off t.co/awg4RQ1gQq --Debutante

That was a minor incident downtown. Things are quiet in my neighborhood.

I'm glad to hear that. There is so much video coming out of New York that it seems really scary to me. The video I posted this morning is the first one I've seen that occurred in Manhattan. So I was afraid that your area was heating up.
There just doesn't seem to be an end in sight for this unrest. Chicago is always crazy, but I seldom venture into the city anymore. It's not worth risking your life. It's a shame too, because I was an avid museum attendee and I know I'll never go again in my lifetime.
Our state is slowly opening up. Some of the restaurants are open, but I am not willing to try any just yet. Some recreational things are due to open soon and I won't be doing that for awhile either. I only know of one peron who got Covid -- so I don't think it's as prevalent as they say -- but why take chances.
This has been a crappy year thus far. Covid-19, riots...it's one of the worst years in recent memory.
