With all the chaos -- I'm wondering if everyone is okay.
We have a lot of Facts members in places with civil unrest.
Things were chaotic in downtown Chicago the past two days -- but I'm nowhere near the problem. Our local police have informed us that they intend to protect the citizens and property if it moves our way.
I've heard (but haven't seen for myself) that they've blocked off expressway ramps to keep any problems confined to manageable areas.
Let me know how you guys are doing. Stay safe.

Okay here in New York. The looters went after stores in Midtown. I live uptown.

Bob,
I'm glad you're okay. So far, we're still good. A bunch of moronic high school students wanted to organise a protest in a community near here. They planned to do it in their village business district downtown. The businessmen banded together and formed their own protest against the protest and the authorities stepped in to mediate.
They suggested the students move their planned "protest" to their high school (conveniently located on the outskirts of town basically "nowhere"). Now the "protest" is on hold. Hopefully, the kids will get discouraged enough to give up the idea altogether. Nobody with half a brain wants that crap anywhere near them.
I don't think our community will have any unrest unless it comes from the outside. Our police department goes out of its way to bond with the children when they're in grammar school. They know all of them on a first name basis from the time they start kindergarten because they're involved with all kinds of safety education programs at the school. So the kids view the cops as their friends from the time they're little. It's a good policy and it really works.
Even so -- our local police have already assured us they are prepared for anything that may come up from the outside.

Students planning a protest are "moronic". Business men doing the same are seemingly are reacting rationally. Some disjointed thinking there.

Arthur!!!
How are you? It's wonderful to see you back! How are things in England? What have you been up to?
I'm so glad I chose today to drop by so I didn't miss your visit -- I've been rather busy posting on thedonald.win these days.
It's a board consisting of mostly political talk with almost all conservative posters -- but I drop by Facts Forum to talk to Bob, Raybar, and whoever else drops by.
There's so many people on thedonald.win that it's hard to make friends. Otherwise, I'd have tried to lure some people over here. Maybe one day...perhaps it just takes longer to connect when you're one of thousands.
If you're planning on staying around awhile let me know and I'll stick around to talk to you and Bob. Nobody will miss me over there for awhile.
So tell me all your news since the last time you were here . It has to be a few years now, I think.
