I think this works on more superficial stuff, but for real life deep belief stuff, I think it would be different, such as conservative vs. liberal and religious vs. secular beliefs.

I think this works on more superficial stuff, ... If they only tracked "likes" and "dislikes" attached to comments, then the whole study seems superficial.

Looks like it's just superficial conversation without any real meaning or importance, just like to study.
