Yes, I know, cats should be kept indoors, but you don't know the situtaion so don't even start with me. okay! I would gladly ship him to you if you're so concerned
Anyway, having got that out of the way, there were two parent Mynas that apparently had a nest nearby in the coconut tree and also had them flying to the plumeria tree and Orange tree in the next neighbors. They didn't start terrorizing my cat until the babes were actually able to fly and feed on their own...but like a lot of them, they kept wanting to be fed. Fine, except for what those trash birds did....like dive-boming my cat in the front yard and in the back, while I was standing with him there.
I didn't know what to do--I went online to see if anyone had any sulutions. Zero!! Except shoot them dead. Yeah., right good solution.
Anyway, I started yelling at them, which made them fly away....which gave me an idea. I found a Hawk screaming sound bite which I taped. And now those bastards don't come near here anymore. They had also terrorized the little dog in the yard next door when he came out to do his business. My poor cat only comes out in the dark now, and this morning I overslept and only got up when it was already light-- at 6:00 am. I normally get up at 5:00 am. Damn! How's he going to know it safe again? Likey never.
Also, since then, the sweet birds are back again. Any, by the way, I feed the cat so much, that he doesn't have to hunt birds to keep alive. But the other day there was a dead mouse at our front door.

The mighty hunter, Chester the Molester, dealt with that sort of dive-bombing with claws and teeth. A couple of jumps into the air per bird were usually all he needed.
Chester died of old age after numerous excursions into the Hollywood Hills, where there are various predators that might have chased him. But we had another cat that didn't last long enough to get a name - off into the brush the first afternoon, never to be seen again.

this deals with bluejays but might help www.ehow.com/how_5843211_stop-blue-jays-attacking-cat.htmlMight want to get a little crazy if you want to deal with spirit animals and ask for there help, but I am a bit rusty on that. And don't let people hear you talking about such things or they will tend to think your crazy.

He is total pacifist....I mean mongooses, other cats, and even one time a toad! coming to eat hs left-over food (which I don't leave out anymore). and he just sits there watching them. I would absolutely love to see him jump up and getting those son of a bitches in his claws and teeth! But that will never happen....unfortunatelhy.

Lily, I will try to visit when I can and as long as fate does not place any walls in my way Helping you is a pleasure and I thank you for letting me help you, what do we have in this world if not the ability to help others and to be humble enough to ask for help when needed. Without that all we have is avoiding each other and hindering each other which are never very rewarding.

Hello Lily,
I enjoy poetry, dabbled a bit in it, have not done much since and after Sean, have not seen my muse in sometime.
Once upon a time and long ago, A dark man lived for the show, He sought all the pleasures that life could bring, Indulged in drugs and other empty things, He sired four children ove the years, He taught them well the way of fear, To his dark ways hee showed them the way, In his grasp they started to wasted away, A fool with a heart that blinded his eyes, Tried to teach the youngest two to fly, But they would both betray the fool, There love was fake a twisted ruse, The oldest of the two boys Josh was his name, And bullying and vice was his Game, The fool was blinded but soon would learn, That Josh would steal all the fool would own, The Fools eyes had open a bit, This trickery he did not like one bit, So Josh was no longer welcome at the fools home, Away he was sent to else where roam, The Fool thought perhaps the youngest one Sean, Might be able to be saved so he trudged onward to a new dawn,
With the Mother being murdered by a bad man, The Fool came up with a crazy plan, He was able to get get custody from the darkman, And he would try to show Sean a wonderful land, A place where hope and good things were clear, A world with out drugs and dark things to fear, But the Fool who was the biggest fool in the world, Thought it was wrong to keep Sean away from his old family, So everything good he would attempt to show, Was just laughed at and mocked and left in the snow, In the end all the attempts to do what was right, Would just set the Fool up for the stab of a knife, When Sean had reached the adultness of free, He laughed in the face of the fool who was me, Away he left and has been gone ever since, As if what the dumb fool had showed him did not matter one bit.
Not very good but a bit rusty
