In my little circle of friends, questions about how long people have lived at the same address have been floating around since my father died in January. He lived in his house for 63 years 1 month, and died in the kitchen just after breakfast at 98 years 9 months.
So how long have you lived somewhere?
She :)Who :DMust P-)Be 8-)Obeyed and I have been 10 1/2 years where we are now, and were at the old house about 24. Sounds like we're getting old.

Have been in this house here in central Florida since the end of October, 2006. Prior to that, we lived in our house in CA from Dec. 1975 until Oct, 2006.
My parents bought their house in coastal Massachusetts when I was about 1 1/2 years old, in 1946 and it was their only house. It is still in the family. My sister, brother and I were co-owners with my parents in their later years. When my parents passed, my brother bought out our shares, my sister's and mine. He lives there with his wife, son and granddaughter. It was a great place to grow up.

Dad's house in Newton MA (immediately west of Boston) is still in the family -- only been a few months he died-- but will go on the market ASAP after January 1st. Interested??

Didn't realized your Dad passed Ray. My condolences to you and your family.
Shouldn't have too much trouble selling the house, Newton is a desirable location....at least as I remember. It's been a long, long time since I've been in the Boston area.
