If you can show a causal link and not just correlation I am willing to listen. Further please include non-tracked incidents in the study such as accidents deemed non-criminal and suicides by other means.

It is the advocates of gun control who have to show a link. THEY are the ones who have been claiming that there is direct causation between the murder rate and the number of guns available. This article shows that they don't even have a correlation, much less a causal link. Bob Marks
