I read the article during lunch, and will watch the videos tonight, (She Who Must Be Obeyed permitting ), and post something later if there's anything worth saying beyond "it was nice that the debate remained civil.

No surprises here, nothing new. Except perhaps Ken Ham's division of science into two separate types - observational science and historical science.
He's all for observational science -- that which can be observed and studied now. He could hardly deny it, since all of modern technology is based on it.
But he has no use for historical science -- the study of the past. He could hardly accept it, since it (geology, evolution, etc.) contradicts everything he believes.
Only trouble is that actual science makes no such division.

To do that, he has to believe that EVERYTHING in the Bible is the word of God and therefore absolutely true. The problem is that it isn't. Bob

Wow, I've always loved Bill Nye. I don't have patience for anti-science zealots. I respect anyone who can take the time to debate yo-yo's effectively. Well done Mr. Nye!
BTW, Bill Nye totally turn my son on to science with his show Bill Nye the Science Guy. Here is one of his best episodes about critical thinking...
