Probably because people don't view the old ladies who play twelve Bingo cards at once as having a problem. The one thing I learned early in life was never to get between an old lady and her Bingo cards. ***shudder***
At one point in time it was illegal -- I think around the time I was fourteen. One of my great-aunts was such a fanatic she organized her own underground Bingo game during that period ... (Good Lord!)
