It was a very moving ceremony. This makes Hawaii the 15th state to have a marriage equality law.
Tomorrow morning the law will be challenged in court by one House representative. The opponents say an amendment from 1998 to the state constitution restricts marriage to opposite sex couples. But the amendment only gave power to the legislature to do so if they wish. They never did so.

What a great place for a honeymoon! Not that you guys need much help with tourism, more can't hurt! Very true, more can't hurt at all. And not only a honeymoon, but also a weddding and it will be recognized in any other state that recognizes same-sex marriage. One issue opponent question here was why not have couples from Hawaii fly to California and get married there. They would still have civil union state benefits here but not Federal benefits.
