If you visit Russia, don't cross the street.

Thanks, Bob. I never intended to visit there anyway, but this really clinches it. Does Russia have a Visitors Bureau, I wonder? Betcha this film wasn't made by any of them.
There's a lot of the world I wouldn't visit, such as Mexico, all of South America, all of Africa (including the Middle East), all of Southern Europe. Of course, there are also a lot of the U.S. I would stay away from, too.
How about you, Bob? Or anyone else? Most question folks about where they would like to visit. And here I am asking where folks would not like to visit. Of course, I have lived a lot of places in the world, so I'm not all that anxious to leave where I'm at. But there is one place I would visit all the time if it weren't so far away. When I first landed there (after many years) I felt that I had just landed on another planet. It was awesome.

Lordy! LOL There's a letter to editor in today's paper that ever since stricter laws were passed to protect pedestrians, those folks are just getting too uppity. The situatons he describes I have never seen, although it's true that many pedestrians crossing the street seem to have a death wish or are just too trusting. I don't trust--period. And not only drivers of cars, but speeding bicycles. skateboards and segueways on the sidewalks. And if that doesn't get you, then dogs on the loose will. Walking is getting to be a dying functon. It's not difficult to see what the future holds for humans. All heads, no bodies.
