The thing is the user name and password works. I don't get the message that their wrong. But when I log in it still shows "Welcome Guest, Please Login or Register". If this keeps up, I just won't try anymore. Have I been banned?

Just about every day I find I need to log in. Wasn't a problem previously, once I logged in, I stayed logged in. Not sure what's happened, Lily, but it is most likely a problem with the site. Hopefully things will stay working and no more problems.

As long as I click "remember me" (or whatever it says), I only have to log in again when I delete cookies, and even then, only on that particular computer.

What I get freqently is at first click to open FACTS, is the window that says website can't be found. That just happened to me again. However, I did get in today. Didn't have a problem.
I hate to complain because I'm grateful for this forum that it's still alive for FACTS. I was just was so worried that somehow I was never to be able to login again. So, sorry for that.

I give up! I just replied to Fred and my reply went to website not found and backing up did not restore my post! Arrgh! I will try again, but that means having to find the link again and posting again.

Lily -- The "website not found" screen indicates that there was a failure to communicate somewhere on the internet between your computer and the servers wh;ere FACTS is hosted. Could be anywhere along the line and could be caused by any number of factors. I have no suggestion as to what the trouble may be. You might want to report this to your internet provider.
I have an occasional problem with certain sites where if I click a link quickly I am sent to the wrong place, but if I hold the mouse button down for a moment (say half a second) I go to the correct place. That sounds absurd, because if you have clicked, you have clicked, and it shouldn't make any difference. Nevertheless, pressing the mouse firmly sometimes works better than just tapping it.

Thanks, Raybar. I don't think I've going to inquire of AOL. God knows what complaint of mine they might send to the Feds. Angry, disturbed member. Keep her on your watch list! But seriously, I'll try your solution. In any case, I'll just live with it. It's just that it's the first time it's heppened, so it seemed like the last straw. LOL Just life testing me. And I'm flunking. Lol
