Indeed the Conservative philosophy of refusing to properly fund the NHS leads to unnecessary death and disruption of lives, as does the libertarian philosophy in the USA.

Sorry Mike but that is just flat out wrong. If you re-read the articles, you will see that this crisis does not depend on who is in power at all. From the first article: So a financial crisis eventually has to develop no matter who is in office. The NHS is leading the UK towards bankruptcy, and then no one will have care. The same thing happened recently in Greece when their government went broke. And increased funding has nothing to do with this scandal: And this from the last article: What does that tell us? It tells us that there was already a crisis two years ago when Labor was still in power. As for Libertarians not caring about the sick, that is simply absurd. We DO care. That is why we are against these failed government policies that do nothing for the sick except make their situation worse. Government is run by politicians and bureaucrats. They are not concerned with helping people. They are concerned with APPEARING to help people. All politicians and bureaucrats care about is increasing their own power. Do you deny this? Bob
