You couldn't make this shit up. The juxtaposition of a woman being burned as a witch and people taking pictures of it with cell phones is surreal. Frankly, I'm surprised this hasn't happened in America already. Give it time; the fundaMENTAList, superstitious hordes will catch up now that they have a modern precedent. Maybe someday we can say.."We're not in Kansas anymore", but I doubt that time will come soon. If we could just grind all religious people up for fertilizer we could get off petro-based fertilizers. I'd rather eat my vegetables than be subject to their madness.

I wish I could say "unbelievable," but we have seen reports of witches being killed from time to time in the past. And, in the greater scheme of things, it's not that long since the famous events in Salem, Massachusetts.
