Well, whatever may have been said and whatever may have been meant by it ---
Saying that the White House did something implies an official action. This seems more like a personal matter, perhaps an argument.
Still, telling a reporter that he will regret doing his job is inappropriate and someone needs to be disciplined or fired.

And this isn't just any old reporter. It's Bob Woodward, for crying out loud. The man who risked his career to expose Nixon. Bob Marks

Also, at the same time that Woodward was on 'Fox & Friends' claiming the "harrassment" lasted Minutes, the words on the bottom of the screen read Hours. Much ado.

Woodward Does Duty With Phony Outrage Machine ........................................................... "Woodward's hard-to-believe tale about being threatened, based on a single innocuous sounding phrase from an email sent by a senior White House aide, was cheered by Obama's conservative critics who claimed it proved their long-running theory about the administration's "thug" culture. But the shaky story of a threat quickly collapsed when the full context of Woodward's email exchange with the White House aide, Gene Sperling, was revealed. Rather than a threat, the two men had simply engaged in a vigorous, respectful debate." mediamatters.org/blog/2013/02/28/woodward-does-duty-with-phony-outrage-machine/192833Watergate was a long time ago Bob. And yes, he was an icon in journalism. That was then & this is now.

Bob, I sincerely hope you are ok. I did pick up on that you were not "fully yourself" (whatever that means!)
My best wishes are sent to you that you are on the mend. Be well. Please.

They did an angiogram and all the big arteries were clear. It's the smaller ones that are a problem. They are putting me on a new beta blocker that seems to work well. And I'm starting to put olive oil in my food. Bob

Did you ever have a stress test? If so, was it physical or chemical? I feel I'm being pushed into taking a chemical one, & I don't want to.

This is a prime example of news media, left and right, acting like a bunch of middle-school kids passing gossip in the lunchroom. Seems to be an almost daily event. I guess it's to get ratings, truth be damned.
When the full emails were released, it made Woodward look like an asshole. And Fox News.
But who cares. They got the ratings and they'll do it again next week. Sigh. 8-<

Did you ever have a stress test? If so, was it physical or chemical? I feel I'm being pushed into taking a chemical one, & I don't want to. Never have a chemical stress test. At least with a physical test, you can stop and get off of the treadmill. With the chemical test, all they can do is put more chemicals into your body. As for a physical stress test, people sometimes get heart attacks and strokes while taking the test. The chemical test is also much more expensive and the doctors make more money. I had a physical test back in 2006 and the doctor wanted to treat me with medication. I pushed for an angeogram and a good thing I did. They found a main artery 90% blocked. They did angeoplasty and put in a stent. About a year ago, I went for another stress test. The doctor made the mistake of complaining to me that his portfolio wasn't doing well. About 20 seconds into the test, he told me I wasn't doing it properly and said I had to have a chemical test. I left. He sent a report to my gp saying that he ended the test because I was "winded." I wasn't. In fact, I walked over a mile to get to his office, and I walked back as well. And I walk fast. Don't trust a doctor just because they happen to have a degree. Bob
