Just a reminder of the board rules that have applied since 2015: Welcome to the F.A.C.T.S.: Forum for Active Critical Thinking & Skepticism. This forum is meant to be a safe place to debate, learn and discuss a vast spectrum of subjects including science, life and politics with those who aspire to use their critical thinking skills.
We are not all atheists, or scientists. Many of the contributors to the board are, in fact, religious (or people with faith, if you prefer that term). They find few, if any, conflicts between their faith and their contribution to the board. But critical thinking demands we examine any claims made for their clarity of thought, their logic, their use of evidence. See FACTS Glossary here.
We have a few posting rules here in addition to ProBoards' Community Guidelines:
1. Treat each other civilly. Do not use ad hominems, bullying and flames in your posts. 2. Posting images or material that is graphic in nature or falls under ProBoards Community Guidelines is prohibited. Basically if it can get our forum in trouble it will be deleted and the poster will be given one warning. 3. Any personal problems you have with another poster should be taken up with the Administrator or Moderators via private message. (See Rule #1) 4. Try to keep topics in their proper sections. (Example: Political discussions belong on the Politics and Rants Forum). 'Escapee' threads may be moved to their proper sections.
