Did that video claim that any of the people waiting for their cases to be heard are being starved or mistreated in any way? I didn't see any such claim.
The system is overloaded and these procedures take time.
Which would you rather live in: a country where people have to wait a long time to gain entry, or a country where they shoot you for trying to leave?

Correct Bob, there is nothing intrinsically bad about holding people in prisons who have committed no crime.
You should go, too! I hear it's a privately run facility, so it is certain to be really nice there!

The only reason the government is using prisons is that there is no other place to put people. These are temporary holding centers and you have not presented any evidence to the contrary.
As for me going there, I'm already a citizen so they won't let me in.

Do you know of any other places the government can put these people until their cases can be heard? I don't. Unless you can provide evidence that the government has plenty of empty places that it's keeping secret, you don't have a case.
