First off, I am totally and forever against using baby-talk in science or medical articles. Or any educational, materials, for that matter. It has become an accepted thing to refer to "poop" even in items meant for adults. I'm agin' it. Dumbing-down is evil. Make them stop. It hurts us as a civilization. 8-< But this is such an interesting subject. Wombats produce about 80-100 cubes of feces per night. The ONLY creature on earth with this strange characteristic. No one knew how until now. Still don't know why. I cannot see any evolutionary advantage to this, unless the wombats were using dried feces to built little castles or some such. Which they aren't. So, another mystery. Sigh. Wombat poop: Scientists have finally discovered why it's cubed www.cnn.com/2018/11/19/australia/wombat-cube-poo-intl/index.html
