This is the future of medicine. There will be mistakes and abuses (tweaking embryos to make super athletes, for example.) But there's lots of promise.

I wonder how they will do clinical trials. There's no way to tell if the altered genes will cure one thing, but cause another.
This promises to be a rather expensive treatment. But even if it works, the bean counters will place all kinds of restrictions. I can't see this as being cost effective. That's a situation I don't like because it would be a shame if only the super wealthy had access to this procedure.
