I'm going to tell you half a story. The other half will come in a few days.
Sometimes dead folks come and visit me when I'm awake. Sometimes I get information in dreams.
Last night I dreamed of horses.
It began with a horse race on which I'd apparently bet. I didn't see the entire race unfold -- but was given the post position of the winner. The number flashed up written on a card across my field of vision.
The rest of the dream I was walking across acres and acres of open field where dozens of race horses were freely running...
When I woke up this morning, my husband casually mentioned that the Kentucky Derby is this weekend.
I think I know the winning horse.
I will tell you afterwards if I am correct. The reason I won't say now is because I once felt sorry for someone who couldn't pay his semester's tuition and gave him a few picks. He bugged me every day after that chasing me around with scratch sheets. So, I never tell anyone before a race since then.
But this is the first clear thing thing in the nature of a premonition I've had since Trump winning the election.
I am assuming the race dream referred to the Derby -- I doubt it would be for a minor race.

Predictions made after the fact are not very convincing. If you don't want to reveal your pick in advance for the reason you discussed above, you could post your pick just a minute or two before the race begins, which is scheduled for 6:46 PM Eastern time, or 5:46 PM in Chicago. That way, no one would be able to place bets based on your prediction, but your prediction would still be published before the event.

If I remember I will. If not, you'll have to take my word for whether or not I am right.
Actually, my daughter gets it right every single year. She hasn't looked at the line up yet and I am curious to see if the horse she will pick occupies the same post position I dreamed about.
