I like this one:
"I finally figured out the only reason to be alive is to enjoy it."

Something I say to Molly sometimes is, "I don't care if you don't want me, I'm yours." (from a song)

Are you old enough to remember this song? Why yes I am. Peaked at #11 on the "charts" in July 1965 (according to one source, anyway). I was getting ready to start college. "I don't care if you don't want me, I'm yours" is from "I Put A Spell On You" by Screaming Jay Hawkins (1956). One of the DJs on my local radio station used some of the screams and grunts, as well as the "I don't care ..." line to punctuate his mindless chatter. Early to mid '60s. The original version of this song is a little crude - '50s style with screaming added. But it has been recorded many, many times since then in a wide variety of styles. Original version (pretty sure) with no video.

The "I Put a Spell On You" song has personal meaning for me, except it's the one by Nina Simone.
