I agree, most people don't know this. But there's also a law that most people don't know that makes it illegal for US politicians to accept foreign help to win an election. So if the Justice Dept wanted to talk to the Ukraine cops about possible illegalities by Joe Biden's son, or Trump's family stuff, or anyone else, that's OK. But when a US president asks the Ukraine pres to do him a favor and see if he can dig up any dirt on the Bidens, that's clearly a political request and clearly illegal. Even if Trump didn't mean it the way it sounded, he had no business talking to the Ukraine pres like that. If there was any reason to suspect criminal activity in the Ukraine by a US citizen, it should have been cops talking to cops, and the Ukrainian cops should have been the ones initiating an investigation. That's the ONLY legal channel. And, so far as I know, there has never been any evidence about Biden's son doing anything illegal in the Ukraine.
Trump's son dodged a bullet in 2016 when he met with a Russian who claimed to have dirt on Clinton. Supposedly the meeting was a bust and no dirt was produced, so the son said nothing illegal had been done. But if he had accepted any political info from a Russian, that would have been illegal. So his defense was basically, we went to rob the bank, but it was closed for a holiday so we didn't rob it. No harm, no foul. LOL

Hi Fred: No evidence? What do you call Solomon's document drop? How much more do you need? And that doesn't even count Biden bragging on tape how he got the prosecutor investigating fired! Do be serious, Fred! thehill.com/opinion/campaign/463307-solomon-these-once-secret-memos-cast-doubt-on-joe-bidens-ukraine-storyInsofar as the "meeting" with Don Jr. -- I think the cost was around 40 million wasted taxpayer dollars for Mueller to reach the conclusion that there was no there "there". Which, I might remind you one of the lower echelon conspirators of the coup told them before they even put their plot into action. By the way, Barr Dunham were in Italy. The origins of the coup are about to exposed. What did Q say? It will bring down the house. --Debutante

Hi Fred:
Almost forgot-- please point me to the exact phrase in the transcript where the 2020 election was mentioned. They were discussing the 2016 election.
Now it seems to me that Trump has every right to investigate the 2016 hoax which was an attempted coup.
By the way once the document was changed allowing "hearsay" -- do you really think any sane person would fall for this as being anything other than yet another bullshit attempt by the Democrats to stage a coup attempt?
They are desperate. All of their conniving is going to be exposed. I guess it seems worth the risk at this point. The penalty for treason as far as I know is still death.

>What do you call Solomon's document drop? ---Political propaganda.
>And that doesn't even count Biden bragging on tape how he got the prosecutor investigating fired! ---That particular guy was indeed corrupt and inept. Plus being a pro-Russia leftover. He had a bad rep throughout Europe and everyone in NATO was worried that he was weakening Ukraine on purpose to aid in Russia’s attempt to retake that nation. Biden had a right to brag about helping to get rid of him. And, of course, it wasn’t just Biden, since no American has the power or authority to remove an official in a foreign government. The Ukrainians themselves had to do the actual work.
>Insofar as the "meeting" with Don Jr. -- I think the cost was around 40 million wasted taxpayer dollars for Mueller to reach the conclusion that there was no there "there". ---Can’t imagine why it would cost so much. Jr intended to commit a crime but couldn’t pull it off. As soon as it was clear that they didn’t get any anti-Clinton dirt from the meeting, that’s all that mattered. ---Treason is indeed a capital crime, but I think it’s Trump and his lickspittles who are staying up nights worrying about such, not the Dems. 8->

Hi Fred:
That's very well documented research by Solomon. You calling it propaganda doesn't invalidate it.
Hillary's sycophants have been whining like two year olds ever since Trump won and stopped the transformation of the United States into a communist country.
Now I never had a problem with Hillary until after the election. Frankly, I am bewildered how anyone raised in Illinois can go off track to the extent that she's reputed to have done. Things around here are not as outrageous as the coasts.
Schiffty and his cohorts aren't fooling anyone. Nobody buys this bullshit that fake news is peddling. Nobody listens to the media anymore and nobody cares what Hollywood thinks either. We have our own news sources now.
The Democrats seem to think that nobody has a right to investigate them. They are sadly mistaken.
The origins of the 2016 hoax are going to come out no matter how hard the Democrats try to stop it. And the penalty for treason hasn't changed as far as I know.

>That's very well documented research by Solomon. You calling it propaganda doesn't invalidate it. ---No, but all the evidence does. There’s a February 2016 bipartisan letter signed by both Republican and Democratic senators that urged then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to "press ahead with urgent reforms to the Prosecutor General's office and judiciary.” Congress, not Joe Biden. And there’s no evidence that Hunter Biden was even under investigationint he first place. It’s Republican fake news. 8->
---Speaking of which, a new poll shows how Republicans are thinking these days. 6 out of 10 of people in the poll who self-identify as Republicans say that they don’t believe that Trump even mentioned Joe Biden in the Ukraine call. Fake news, they say. Now this is not that they don’t believe that Trump did anything wrong, it’s that they don’t believe that he even mentioned the Biden name. This despite transcript from the White House itself which shows Trump talking about Biden. If they can’t trust Trump, who can they trust? LOL
>The origins of the 2016 hoax are going to come out no matter how hard the Democrats try to stop it. ---If you mean the Mueller investigation, the origins have been public years now. The Dems aren't trying to hide anything because there's nothing to hide. A Trump staffer bragged to an Australian diplomat that Russia was helping Trump win the election, which is illegal. The investigation began with that. Period.
>And the penalty for treason hasn't changed as far as I know. ---Even if all you believe were true, it's not treason. A president is not the nation. The military and other federal folk take an oath to protect the Constitution, not protect the president. Or even the nation, for that matter. Politicians from all parties have been doing political dirty tricks for more than a century. Instigating an investigation of a president isn't even high on the list of nasty things done in the past. The Reps impeached B. Clinton and did 3 Congressional investigations of H. Clinton, spent millions of dollars and came up with nothing. Trump (and others) claimed that Obama was an illegitimate president because he wasn't born in the US. Not considered treason by anyone. Nixon's people didn't go to prison for their dirty tricks, they went to prison for trying to hide felonies that Nixon staffers did. Not considered treason.
Treason doesn't mean trying to take political power with lies and dirty tricks - it means trying to take over the nation by force. Lying is OK. If your followers are too dazed or dumb to notice or care, then lie all you want. Trump averages 3 lies per day and his people NEVER protest. Why would anyone care if the Dems lied about something after all these years of Trump doing it daily? 8->

Hi Fred: Because they didn't stop after he won. They lied to get the FISA warrants and even AFTER Trump was elected and assumed office they CONTINUED with their "insurance policy coup". That is what makes it treason. Insofar as this thing with Biden, I could give a rat's ass about him. In my opinion, it's ludicrous to think Trump would need political dirt on him. Not to be unkind, but Biden is senile. There's no way in hell he would have won anyway. It's absurd to even suggest it was a reasonable possibility. There wasn't a single day he spoke that he didn't have a "senior moment". Look -- when things get that fuzzy -- he should stay home and pet the dog. He simply isn't focused enough to fill any government position. If you ask me, what I really think happened is that the Democrats themselves wanted Biden out of the race so they're trying to kill two birds with one stone. By trying to make a nothing phone call into a big deal enough dirt surfaced on Biden to give Warren the lead. Did Biden's son made out like a bandit in the Ukraine and China? He probably did. Both Solomon and Guiliani have documentation that indicates he did. And no...I do not take the word of the European Union as to "what happened" in the Ukraine as being anything other than bullshit. I don't like them. I don't trust them. And I will be glad when the UK gets free of them and I hope other countries follow suit. Anyone who believes or trusts the EU needs their head examined. And Soros is already banned in six countries. They should ban him from the planet. Oh and it is awfully convenient for Bernie to need stents at this point in time. Edited to add: Just thought I'd throw in this article that lists all the ways this Ukrainian hoax is falling apart. www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/03/nolte-11-facts-that-have-already-unraveled-the-ukraine-hoax/--Debutante

>Because they didn't stop after he won. ---And neither did the Republicans and right-wing after Obama won. If picking on Trump is treason, then so was picking on Obama and trying to overturn the election. Same exact thing.
>They lied to get the FISA warrants and even AFTER Trump was elected and assumed office they CONTINUED with their "insurance policy coup". That is what makes it treason. ---As you said, you have different sources. But those not from the right-wing show that the FISA warrants were perfectly legal and valid. And, as I said before, picking on a president is not treason.
>it's ludicrous to think Trump would need political dirt on him. ---Trump freaked out because polls a few weeks ago showed that ANY one of the top five Dems would win the election if it were held this Nov. Biden is in the lead, so that's who Trump went for. It also scared the Republican party, and they too are conspiring to get rid of Trump. They’d much rather have Pence. So there might be a deal where Trump resigns rathehr be impeached and, like Ford with Nixon, Pence pardons him in return.
>By trying to make a nothing phone call into a big deal enough dirt surfaced on Biden to give Warren the lead. ---Not impossible. Professional politicians are not trustworthy sorts.
>Both Solomon and Guiliani have documentation that indicates he did. ---Yet more neutral sources keep saying that there is absolutely no evidence that either Biden did anything illegal. I don’t think either Solomon or Guiliani are trustworthy sources. Guiliani in particular seems to be have lots of “Biden” moments where he says something in an interview and then denies he said it five minutes later. He changes his stories so often no one can keep track.
>Just thought I'd throw in this article that lists all the ways this Ukrainian hoax is falling apart. ---If Trump asked the leader of the Ukraine to help him get dirt on a political opponent, then that is illegal. The transcripts from the White House show that he did. It doesn’t matter whether he was holding aid back to bribe the Ukraine. Then Trump openly did the same thing by asking China to investigate Biden. Sort of daring Congress to impeach him. Both actions violate Federal law. No hoax, just a narcissist who believes he can do no wrong.

Hi Fred:
That's just plain silly. Up until the last moment Hillary was "supposed" to win according to the mockingbird media polls. Well, she didn't. Do you really think any sane person listens to those stupid polls anymore?
The mockingbird media is broken. Nobody cares. There is an entire digital army gathering information and putting it out there for public view and there is NOTHING the Clowns In America can do about it.
Trump has thousands of people at his rallies and more clamouring to get in because there is never enough room no matter the size of the venue. The Democratic candidates are lucky to pull a crowd of a few hundred.
Democrats just don't get it. We the people love President Trump. It's only the commies and globalist puppets who don't.
Insofar as the investigation of corruption, what you're really trying to say is that if someone who is a Democrat wants to commit a crime and get away with it -- all they have to do is run for President.
Do you really think the electorate is that stupid?
The Democrats are covering their ass by claiming "election interference" because they don't want their corruption exposed. Funny how they didn't consider it "election interference" when they concocted the Russia hoax and investigated Trump for two years.
There was an old tv show that had the following catchphrase: "If you can't do the time, then don't do the crime." Democrats would do well to remember that.

>Up until the last moment Hillary was "supposed" to win according to the mockingbird media polls. Well, she didn't. Do you really think any sane person listens to those stupid polls anymore? ---Polls only reflect what people think on a particular date. They are accurate for that day, but a week later things may have changed. So polls taken in May are totally valueless for Nov. In the 2016 election many people didn’t like either candidate, so less than 50% of possible voters actually voted. Comey’s song-and-dance about Clinton emails just days before the election probably cost her a win. And the polls were correct that more people voted for Clinton than for Trump, just not in the right states to get her enough electoral votes. Even so, it was close. >There is an entire digital army gathering information and putting it out there for public view and there is NOTHING the Clowns In America can do about it. ----True, but, unfortunately, much of what you see is lies, propaganda, etc. Once a lie hits the internet, it takes on a life of its own and is passed around and reposted thousands of times, even after it’s been proved untrue. 8-<
>We the people love President Trump. It's only the commies and globalist puppets who don't. ----Hmm…I’m a people…not a commie, not a globalist puppet…war veteran, etc., and I truly believe that Trump is the worst president in my lifetime. He has done a great deal of harm to the nation I love and I believe that prison is too good for him. Of all my friends and family, I have only a nephew who is a Trump sheeple, but not a single one of the others supports him. Yes, Trump supporters are very committed to him, but there really aren't that many of you.
>Insofar as the investigation of corruption, what you're really trying to say is that if someone who is a Democrat wants to commit a crime and get away with it -- all they have to do is run for President. ---Where did that come from? I never said such. What I did say was that there is absolutely no evidence that Biden or his son did anything illegal in Ukraine. None. Despite what your alternate truth news sources claim. Now if the government of Ukraine wants to investigate them, that’s fine. Or the government of the US, for that matter. I have no problem with investigations. What I don’t like is people putting out fake evidence and making wild claims that have nothing to support them.
>The Democrats are covering their ass by claiming "election interference" because they don't want their corruption exposed. ---I don’t see the connection. 17 US intelligence agencies provided evidence that Russia meddled in the 2016 elections to help Trump. That fact would not prevent Dem corruption from being exposed. Two totally unrelated subjects. Trump violated US law, once privately and once publicly, by asking foreign nations to look for dirt on his political foe to help him with his election. Also a fact. Either incident would be an impeachable offence. It’s Trump and his mouth that got him into this mess, not the Dems. And his arrogance that makes him think he can break any laws he chooses and not have to face the consequences. Hey, if there is any corruption among either Dems or Reps, I’m all for exposing it and punishing the offenders. Both parties have corruption. But, again, Trump’s violation of Federal law is not something the Dems made up. He chose to do that all by himself.

Hi Fred: Here's the thing. I wouldn't believe the Mainstream media if the stood on a stack of bibles. They're "fake news". The digital army tells the truth but you prefer to listen to what you want to hear. Russia Russia was nothing but a hoax. Those seventeen agencies you're talking about were actually weaponized during the last 3 weeks of Obama's administration for the sole purpose of framing Trump. Why werent those seventeen agencies privy to those avenues of information during Obama's entire administration? Because he only did it when the "insurance policy" of the dirty dossier was launched by the Clowns In America. There is a reason JFK said he wanted to break it into pieces and scatter it to the four winds. There is ample evidence this was an attempted coup. Because you choose not to believe it, doesn't invalidate the evidence. We're not going to agree on this. I know the Democrats are traitors, and you think they're not. No matter how much evidence there is; you will never believe it because you don't want to believe it. I imagine when they hang these traitors or toss their sorry butts in jail you still won't believe it. Trump is the first president that has ever done anything for the people. I'm glad he won. And I am glad he will win in 2020. (Let's just say I know for the same reason I knew last time). To be blunt, I didn't work hard all my life to have a dingbat like AOC and her ilk "socialize" my country and empty my bank account for their pet projects. And I can pretty well guess most sane Americans feel the same way. If these idiots want socialism, let them pack their bags and move to a socialist country like Venezuela. I like the fact that we are a constitutional republic and thank God we have Donald Trump! >Why werent those seventeen agencies privy to those avenues of information during Obama's entire administration? ---Russia only jumped in for the 2016 election. The intelligence agencies discovered Russia’s involvement early on, and their links to several Trump staffers. Obama screwed up by not making more of a deal about it at the time, but it wasn’t something that only came up after Trump was elected. It was out there many months before that.
>There is ample evidence this was an attempted coup. ---As you say, we disagree. I haven’t seen any real evidence of an attempted coup. The one the far-right whines about is simply too stupid for words. I promise you that I could run a much better coup than that, one with 100% chance of success and one that the right would never know about. If the right-wing claims are true and this is the best that the Dems can do, then the Dems are too stupid to be a real threat. LOL
>No matter how much evidence there is; you will never believe it because you don't want to believe it. ---No, actually I’m a true skeptic. I follow the evidence wherever it leads, even if I don’t like it. Unfortunately, it is now and has always been much too easy to make up false claims about people we don’t like. Once upon a time there was a cost for such falsehoods, but these days people can say almost anything they want about their foes and (1) they never have to prove it and (2) nothing bad happens to them if their claims are revealed to be false. Remember all the years that Trump led the Obama birther brigade (attempted coup!!!!), promised that he had secret evidence that he would reveal “soon”, and then he recently admitted that Obama was actually a citizen? No penalty for all those years of falsehood, and no penalty for switching. That’s the world we live in. Sigh.
---So, yeah, I don’t accept the claims of the right-wing because their coup evidence has been, so far, totally bogus, and they have a long, long history of promoting false claims. Happy to change my mind if any real evidence comes to light. Doesn’t matter whether I like it or not.
>If these idiots want socialism, let them pack their bags and move to a socialist country like Venezuela. ---Nay, Venezuela is a failed dictatorship. Me, I’d rather go to Denmark, Norway, Canada or some such place with Democratic Socialism. Places where the citizens score very high on their happiness and contentment. Of course, if you really want a totally non-socialist nation, we need to give up the Post Office, public schools, state highways systems, state universities, police, fire departments, etc. There’s nothing that can’t be for-profit instead of owned by the government. Right now we’re a mix of socialism and capitalism (like Western Europe), but corporations own our government, so it spends most of its effort doing things for its corporate masters instead of taking care of our citizens. I like the Western Europe model in which the government is owned by the citizens. But that’s just me. 8->

Hi Fred:
Oh, Norway isn't all that great. They average 21 rapes a night since the the migrants arrived. But shhh.....nobody is supposed to know that.
And the medicine in those countries is great (as long as you don't get sick).
Case in point on the medical front ...Rev is very ill and last I spoke to him -- he was singing the praises of socialized medicine.
Well, I haven't spoken to him in a year because he will not survive this illness. He prefers to face things alone --always did. Thing is...he THINKS he is getting quality care .
I know what he has and I know what the standard is for this problem. If he came home and was treated here -- he'd have more time. For all I know, they might have killed him already with their substandard approach to the problem.
People who think socialized medicine is good believe so because they don't know enough to see where the corners were cut.
But for his complete stubbornness in preferring Europe (for reasons that have nothing to do with this issue) he's get better care here. They cut corners from the get go and greatly reduced his chances.
So don't think socialized anything is worth much-- it is substandard. I know what they did and more importantly what they didn't do.
But getting back to the coup-- the reports will be out soon and we'll see then.

>And the medicine in those countries is great (as long as you don't get sick). ---Like our system is so much better. I recently needed a specialist. Got a list from my GP, but no one on his list would take my insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield). Insurance companies are the real Death Panels. If they won’t pay, you don’t get treatment. Got a list from BC/BS of locals who would take that company. Went through 10 before I found one who was taking new patients. Next open date was 6 weeks out. Like you said, don’t get sick. But that includes the US. 8-<
>So don't think socialized anything is worth much-- it is substandard ---Like I said, there’s no reason that the government has to own or regulate anything. All roads could be toll roads, all schools private, all police private security, etc. There are already places that don’t have government fire fighters, so they have to pay a private company. If your house is on fire, they will only come out to protect the houses of their clients and will let yours burn. If you really don’t like socialism, you should push for a total rejection of ALL socialism in the US. Government regulations? Naw, that’s socialism. Let corporations do anything they want. The government’s only job is to enforce contracts and maintain a military force.
---Rapes. You blamed that number in Norway on immigrants. Nothing to do with their type of government. BTW, estimated number of rapes in the US for 2018 is 800 per day. But the estimate is based on the belief that most rapes aren’t reported. The number of reported rapes in 2018 is about 370 per day. We’re so much better than Norway, right? LOL
---Back to Trump. I’ve long believed that he will resign if impeachment gets serious. In today’s news someone who used to work for him in his New York business thinks the same thing. He’ll blame the Dems, Deep State, etc. and say that he’s resigning to save the Republican Party. Make himself a hero rather than a crook. And he’ll either make a deal with Congress not to prosecute him if he resigns, or Pence will pardon him. Reasonable odds. Place your bets now. 8->
---Also, he shouldn’t be talking about cleaning up corruption. He and his family have been banned from ever running a charity in New York because they were running a charity scam that supposedly was for children with cancer. He did another one that was supposedly for vets, but only gave them some money after it was exposed that he was keeping all the money. Trump University was shut down as a scam and he had to pay a big fine. Ivanka has some shady deals going on with China and Saudi Arabia (she offers influence with the pres for those who invest in her businesses). And so on.

Forgot to mention the "coup". First off, a coup is taking over a government by force, usually military, not by dirty tricks, impeachment, etc. That means the entire government. Secondly, right now, the Reps have the Presidency, the Senate, and the Supreme Court. If Trump leaves, the Reps will have the Presidency (Pence), the Senate, and the Supreme Court. In other words, it's a piss-poor coup if you don't actually take over the entire Federal government. In fact, the "coup" would still leave 3 out of the 4 Federal government entities in the hands of Reps. How would that help the evil Dems? It wouldn't at all. Much better to win the 2020 election and get the Pres and the Senate by votes. No need at all for a stupid and inefficient coup. Or, if they must have a coup, do one that actually gives the Dems power rather than one that changes nothing.
Anyway, because the Dems are not trying to take over the entire Federal gov or any part thereof by force, whatever they do in the way of investigations or impeachment is not legally a "coup" and therefore there will be no Dems in jail for their efforts. Like I said, the Reps and the right wing did exactly the same kind of stuff under Obama, as best they could, and no one ever called their efforts to remove or weaken him a coup attempt. Just nasty politics as usual. You can make up all the lies you want about a president and, at best, you might be sued for slander or libel. But lying about a president or a political party is not a felony, is not treason, and has never been punished.

Hi Fred:
What have you been reading? Have you totally missed the statements that if they can get rid of Trump, then Pence is next on their list?
Did you miss that weekend when Pelosi was going to "vacation" with a plane load of her relatives and Trump grounded the flight -- just as Donna Brazil's tweeted out an implied promotion for Nancy that day from "speaker to President"? It was mid January, if memory serves.
Trump survived THAT by grounding her plane. Her alibi never got off the ground.
Really Fred, nobody is that stupid and the Deep State isn't even bothering to be subtle.
So nobody buys that it isn't a coup by the left because we already know that Pence is another target.
This impeachment farce isn't following any of the established protocol for such things. They're changing rules as they go on so they can railroad their way through to their desires goal. So, it doubtful that it's even legal. It won't hold up for lack of due process.
People do not have to cooperate with a "letter". It's not a summons in the strictly legal sense and they can't issue a real one unless they follow the rules and begin with a floor vote. So the Democrats are welcome to pound sand.
I don't think any of this fake impeachment is going to stop the release of the investigative reports . And I don't think it's going to distract from them either. They'll be too busy trying to cover their own ass to pursue this charade any further.

>Have you totally missed the statements that if they can get rid of Trump, then Pence is next on their list? ---Who’s this “they” of which you speak. LOL Pence is totally safe. He hasn't said or done any of the illegal things that Trump has. And, as I often point out, many Republicans would like to dump Trump and keep Pence, so they may stab Trump in the back if they get the chance and can blame it on the Dems. (Ted Cruz chants every morning, “revenge is a dish best served cold.”) But Pence is more like a traditional Rep pres and he has a better chance of winning in 2020 than Trump. Even Fox News polls put Trump behind all of the top 5 Dems in Sep.
>Did you miss that weekend when Pelosi was going to "vacation" with a plane load of her relatives and Trump grounded the flight -- just as Donna Brazil's tweeted out an implied promotion for Nancy that day from "speaker to President"? ---I don't get it. How would flying somewhere be part of a coup? Where are the armed attackers? Doesn't make any sense. Why would she need an alibi? If she just wanted to be out of Washington, then rent a car or take a commercial flight somewhere. Again, it's a pretty pathetic coup if it can be so easily prevented. And, again, if a childish plan is the best the evil Dems can do, then they deserve to be laughed out of town.
---Trump is seriously obese and has secret health problems that he won’t admit. Sprinkle a little of this or that into his cheeseburger and off he goes to the hospital for several days of tests. Makes him look weak. Even a tab of LSD just before one of his campaign rallies so that he babbles (even more) could make him look even more foolish. Why all the complex and not-likely-to-succeed plans when there are plenty of cheap and simple ways to mess with him? As I said, realistically, he will not be removed from office by impeachment because the Reps control the Senate and they will not convict him.
---Right now the House is doing an “impeachment investigation”. This is not yet an actual impeachment (and probably never will be) and is in no way a danger to Trump as far as removal from office goes. Unless the Senate Reps turn on him. (Quite a few have actually openly complained about his deal with Turkey to screw our allies in Syria, but that's not enough. Yet.) The Dem’s hope is to keep Trump’s antics in the news during the summer of the 2020 election with investigations. Just like the Reps did with 3 Congressional investigations on Clinton and many wild claims of her various crimes that were never proved. (Remember Trump's promise to lock her up? How's that going?) That’s it. No coup needed, no impeachment (attempt to remove him from office). Just let him keep tweeting and spouting off his nonsense in public and the Dems will win the election. No muss, no fuss. Trump's mouth is his worst enemy.

Hi Fred:
That weekend was one of the attempts on Trump's life. Don't recall the exact details of that one -- there have been so many. What are we at now? Last count I saw tallied was 27.
Who are they? Who hasn't expressed a desire to get rid of both Trump and Pence among the liberals? Everyone from those batty women on "The View", to Mad Maxine, to the mockingbird media puppets.
I've even read some long drawn out plot speculating that when Pelosi gets to be President (after getting rid of both of them) she can appoint Hillary as her Vice-President and then resign. Thus, making Hillary President. This was actually printed in one of the online newspapers.
So, yes. These people really think that the coyote is going to use his Acme impeachment kit and get the road runner out of office.
As to Trump getting out of Syria, I think it's about time. Our country has been policing the world for far too long at tremendous expense both in American lives and resources. For what? Nobody appreciates anything we do anyway. Since that's the case, they can just as well unappreciate us while it doesn't cost us anything. We can use what we save on our own citizens and bring our troops home to their families. Works for me!
I think he did exactly what he said he would do -- he is putting America first.
I do not understand why Democrats seem to believe that everyone else, everywhere else, is much more important than America and its people.

That weekend was one of the attempts on Trump's life. Don't recall the exact details of that one -- there have been so many. What are we at now? Last count I saw tallied was 27. ---And yet I haven’t heard of even one. 8->
---Anybody can kill anybody so long as they don’t expect to survive. Trump is an easy target, since he spends so many hours per week playing golf at his own places, and, since there are paying guests at all of those places, it would be very easy to slip a killer in. But killing him would make him a martyr. Makes much more sense to expose him and get his base to turn on him. More difficult, but way more effective.
>We can use what we save on our own citizens ---Socialism!!! Anyway, you’re missing the financial parts of the equation. Like Republican Eisenhower warned, the military-industrial complex rules the national budget. Defense contractors bribe Congress to buy more military stuff, and Congress sends troops all over the world to justify their multi-billion-dollar spending on stuff we don’t need.
>I do not understand why Democrats seem to believe that everyone else, everywhere else, is much more important than America and its people. ---They don’t. But when they try to help Americans, they’re accused of being socialists.
---At any rate, when you’re playing the international politics game, it’s cheaper to help keep a friendly government in power by giving them aid than it is to deal with an anti-American revolution. Yes, there are some in the Republican Party who want to cut back on our overseas bases and such (the Rands and a couple of others), but most Republicans take the same bribes that the Dems do and are perfectly happy to keep our 400 (or whatever it is now) overseas bases active. And if we have a military base in a nation, we have to give them money. And probably their neighbors, too, just to help protect our bases.
---I agree with you that we could and should get rid of most of these overseas bases. But, like I said, that would be bad for corporations, so Congress will never allow it. Either party. The Reps had Congress for the last couple of years of Obama, but they never even tried to fix this problem. Same for the first 2.5 of Trump. Pulling the last 150 troops out of Syria is so puny that, aside from betraying a friend, it's not worth mentioning.
Impeachment Here’s what’s happening. There’s a Federal law that prohibits a president from taking stuff from a foreign government. Trump asked Ukraine and China to help him break that law. This is much like someone going into a bar and asking if someone will sell him illegal drugs. But if no one sells him drugs, then nothing illegal happened. Same for Trump. General consensus is that Joe Biden is not guilty of any crimes and so Ukraine and China cannot help Trump break the law.
But he’s in trouble for asking them to break the law. Still, that’s not an impeachable offense. So what the Dems are doing is putting on a song-and-dance and dissing him for abuse of power. Very grey area, but not likely to result in impeachment. BTW, some of the tricks they are using against Trump are things the Reps put into place to get Bill Clinton, so much of this is the Reps own fault.
By whining and blustering about it all, Trump is making the minor problem worse. Current trend is that about 60% of the US favors the impeachment investigation, and those numbers keep rising as he rants and refuses to cooperate. But the odds are still very strong against an actual impeachment vote.
There’s a conservative group (Republicans for the Rule of Law) that plans to run on Fox ads this weekend urging House and Senate Republicans to openly condemn Trump (as many of them do in private).
“Republicans in Congress must condemn this behavior without reservation. It is no longer about whether Republicans believe President Trump or whether they support his policies. It’s about whether they support his admitted abuse of power and his efforts to secure a foreign government’s help in an American election. President Trump sees nothing wrong with his behavior. In fact, he’s proud of it. The question now is, are Republicans?” - Chris Truax
So it’s not just Dems in Congress that Trump has to worry about, but also conservative Reps. BTW, Republican Senator Ted Cruz says he supports the impeachment investigation. 8->

Hi Fred:
See -- you read fake news. That's the problem right there.
He has every right to ask for an investigation of corruption It's part of the treaty.
Think about what you are trying to sell here.
If someone wants to commit a crime and get away with it all they have to do is declare that they are running for president for the Democratic nomination.
What is to stop every criminal in the country who is currently "a person of interest" from declaring that they too are a candidate running for the Democratic nomination and thus can not be investigated.
There is no rule to my knowledge that says only rich people can run so why not open the gates of Cook County Correctional and let them all declare they are candidates?
Incidently, by your reasoning there should not be an impeachment investigation either because Trump is running as a Republican.
So you think it is okay for the 3 Democratic senators to write the Ukraine and DEMAND dirt on Trump. However, you think it's not okay for Trump to ASK the Ukraine to look into a case that Biden ADMITTED quid pro quo on tape giving them six hours to fire the prosecutor who was investigating the company from whom his son was receiving huge payments?
So what you're really saying is that you think it is okay that Biden's son was probably getting a payoff for his Dad's influence and it's okay that Biden stopped the investigation by threatening to withold aid money...
But it is not okay for Trump to ASK that this ADMITTED quid pro quo be investigated?
Don't say it didn't happen. They've got Biden bragging about it on tape!
Seriously Fred, you can't really believe anyone is buying the bullshit the mockingbird media is selling when they've got Biden on tape!

>He has every right to ask for an investigation of corruption It's part of the treaty. ---Like I said before, that’s a cop-to-cop thing. Something politicians should not be involved with. And Trump didn’t ask for an investigation of corruption that included the many Republicans wheeling and dealing over there, he asked for an investigation of a particular person, a political foe, just before an election. Not proper police work.
>If someone wants to commit a crime and get away with it all they have to do is declare that they are running for president for the Democratic nomination. ---Not at all. The police can investigate anyone they think needs it. But it looks bad to wait a 2-3 years after the fact, until an election is coming and then ONLY investigate your political foes and not the members of your own family or party that may have committed crimes. If the Bidens did something back when Joe was in office, why is an investigation only needed now? Trump’s been in office for about 2.5 years. The timing sucks.
>So what you're really saying is that you think it is okay that Biden's son was probably getting a payoff for his Dad's influence and it's okay that Biden stopped the investigation by threatening to withold aid money... ---Nope, what I’m saying is that it’s wrong for the president to target his political foes and ignore the members of his own family and party. Keep in mind that Jared is working a on $100 million dollar deal with Saudi Arabia, based on his influence with Trump, Ivanka is doing the same in China, and Trump has two towers in Turkey, several Russians invested hundreds of million in Trump businesses in 2016, etc. Hey, if any Biden broke the law, let’s get them. But if Trump and his family are actually doing worse, and they are, let’s get them, too.
>I keep telling you not to read "fake news". You end up missing all the good stuff! ---And I keep telling you the same thing. Ii spend a lot of time tracking down and verifying stories, for my own amusement, and I promise you that the stuff from the far right is as fake as anything out there.

Hi Fred: As far as corruption investigations being a "cop to cop" thing that's a problem when the upper echelons of the Clowns In America are themselves under investigation for corruption. That's akin to sending the wolves to investigate a hen house. Trump doesn't trust the clowns and I don't blame him. The top dogs might have been thrown out but who really knows what "loyalists" still remain? And it's technically the clowns who handle overseas criminality (supposedly) although under Obama they were the criminals. Supossedly, a phone book sized report on the Russian Hoax is due to be dropped the 18th. I imagine that's when the fun will really start. As far as to the "timing" in terms of this Ukraine business -- Trump has a country to run, plus for the past two years he's had to defend himself against the Russia hoax. He took up this issue at the conclusion of the hoax at the point where it was so dead the Democrats couldn't beat the dead horse any longer. The Democrats (seeing as they do nothing at all in terms of actual work for the people) have plenty of time to concoct more schemes. Hence, this "hearsay whistleblower" bullshit. The transcript is out. The president of the Ukraine says he was not pressured. It is a dead issue except in the minds of crazy people. As if the President of the Ukraine has nothing better to do than lie about this matter! This is more Alinsky bullshit. Attack, attack, and keep attacking so much that your opponent has no time to think. Well, too bad -- so sad -- the dems got pwned. They never expected the transcript to be released or the President of the Ukraine to back Trump's statement up. Now if I were Trump, I would ask the Democrats on camera why they think the President of the Ukraine is lying and embarrass the crap out of them. That would put them in the position of having to defend their attack on a foreign power. Because essentially they are saying he is a liar too. Edited to add: It was late at night when I typed this so I didn't really appreciate the full range of what I just said. The Democrats have actually created what could be termed an "international incident" by refusing to take the word of the Ukrainian President. That is very bad optics and Trump should have his people hit on this and hit hard. If the Democrats want to make a big deal out of nothing -- Trump should make a big deal out of this. Imagine -- the Democrats Are saying that the Ukrainian President is lying about the content of the phone call. This is shocking! This is an INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT. I think the Democrats should be censured for this outrage. I'll get back to you on the rest of the stuff later. I got behind on things because I was watching Trump's rally. The crowd, as usual -- was huge. Trump 2020 --Debutante

>plus for the past two years he's had to defend himself against the Russia hoax. ---He didn't do anything except send out Tweets and attack everyone. Required almost no time or effort since he just made stuff up and didn't spend any time doing research.
>The Democrats (seeing as they do nothing at all in terms of actual work for the people) ---Of course, Trump is SO much better, skipping all his briefings, not reading reports, watching TV 6 hours a day and playing golf almost every weekend. Actually, the Dems in the House have passed several pieces of legislation, but Moscow Mitch refuses to put any of them up for a vote in the Senate. It's the "do nothing" Reps you should be yelling at. Trump has issued dozens of executive orders, but what has the Republican Senate done lately?
>Now if I were Trump, I would ask the Democrats on camera why they think the President of the Ukraine is lying and embarrass the crap out of them. ---No embarrassment. Easy answer. Trump is still holding a gun to his head. Trump can stop the aid any time he to, so the Ukraine pres doesn't dare piss him off.
---The original transcript that the White House released contained enough evidence to start the investigation. Nothing else required. But remember that a transcript is whatever they want it to be. The WH could have left stuff out, changed the wording, etc. It's just words on paper. The stuff the WH DID release was enough to show that Trump asked the Ukraine pres to help him break Federal law. And there are people who heard the entire conversation and who have more to add. Anyway, like I say, so long as the Reps control the Senate Trump cannot be removed from office for his many crimes and abuses. Although I found it pretty funny that Trump turned on Fox News because they have a poll that shows 51% of Americans now favor removing him. Made Trump very angry. Not Dems, Fox Our-Middle-Name-Is-Republican News. LOL
---And now the military is turning on him for abandoning the Kurds. Even Congressional Republicans are publicly calling it a major mistake. We could have pulled US troops out of Syria without turning the Kurds over to the Turks. True, the Kurds didn't help the US during D-Day. But Trump didn't help the US during Vietnam. Isn't that the same? 8->
---As to an international incident for calling the Ukraine pres a liar, consider how many times Trump has attacked heads of state that are our friends and allies over the past years. One incident by the Dems cannot compete with 50 incidents by Trump. He's only nice to Putin, Saudi Arabia and North Korea. Everyone else he publicly trashes.

Hi Fred:
No -- he just trashes the globalists who are in bed with Soros. Considering the Kenyan almost managed to sell out our country to them -- I can appreciate his ire.
Imagine stepping into a job wherein the past occupant of the post deliberately planted a minefield (figuratively speaking) to attempt to derail the very agenda the PEOPLE elected you to implement -- to put America first.
Imagine how it is to discover that your predecessor used contacts in the "five eyes" to attempt a coup. I would feel less than chummy with any nation who plotted against me in that fashion and I don't blame him one bit for whatever lack of "charm" he exhibits when dealing with those people who conspired against him.
Considering the Communist Democrats (let's not fool ourselves anymore and pretend they're anything but) have no interest in anything other than attaining power for themselves.
This is not difficult to ascertain for those who were educated in the days before the commies infiltrated the schools and began to indoctrinate people.
In my day, "Animal Farm" was required reading and although I know the Democrats tell me that " all animals are equal" -- I also know they really believe that "some animals are more equal than others." And I also know that me and mine fall in the group that don't count.
I saw a video yesterday which so aptly encapsulated the current leftist view that I wish it could go viral. Oddly, it was a committee meeting for a small suburban community. A gentleman was attempting to give his view on a topic. It was unclear what the specific details of the topic were because whoever taped this began taping midstream. It apparently had something generally to do with "opression".
The gentleman didn't get more than a sentence or two out of his mouth. He said nothing inflammatory. But -- he was immediately cut off by some woman (actually a harpy in my estimation) who aggressively informed him that she did not want to hear anything he had to say because he was a white man.
"What", she demanded, "does a white man know about oppression?" She was totally unaware that in that moment she was opressing him.
She (herself a white woman) went on to tell him that as a white man he knew nothing about the experience of being oppressed because he had never been opressed
At this point She was TOTALLY unaware she was telling him what his experience as a white man was, while at the same time telling him he couldn't tell what the experience of any other race was because he was white
She is a woman. She is not a white man. Yet, she presumed to tell him what his experience as a white man "was".
She did not see the inconsistency in her argument and recognize that she, herself, was doing exactly what she was accusing him of doing.
Now as she was doing this -- she was screaming, rude, hostile and aggressive--she actually told him to shut up as if she thought she had a right to silence him in a public forum. This apparently arose from her capacity as self-appointed social justice warrior.
Unfortunately, the man was a true gentleman. He did not tell the harpy off -- he obviously was raised not to argue with women. The harpy took advantage of that and went on a tirade for a good five minutes.
That video should go viral because it's a perfect example of why the left are dangerous. They want to take away the right of free speech and worse yet, they feel justified in violating other people's rights.
In a nutshell, that is the problem with liberals. They are always attacking people for the speck in their eyes and never see the beam in their own. (Jesus had a good way of describing this trait).
This phone call with the Ukrainian President is bullshit. And it is a diversion to try to taint the opposition before the mother of all bombs drops.
I personally can't wait for the 18th to arrive. I hope there is enough evidence to put a lot of these upper level Democratic conspirators in jail for a very long time.

>Imagine stepping into a job wherein the past occupant of the post deliberately planted a minefield (figuratively speaking) to attempt to derail the very agenda the PEOPLE elected you to implement -- to put America first. ---First off, Trump was elected by only about 25% of possible voters, and his ratings have gone down since then, so he does not now and never did represent the majority of us. Second, all presidents since forever have had the same problem with civil service folk who stay in the same jobs for decades while presidents and parties pass through. Nothing different about this time round.
---Once more, it’s only a coup if they use force. Using politics and dirty tricks to mess with a foe is just “business as usual”. The Reps did exactly the same thing under Obama. Trump’s attempts to remove Obama (because the Reps couldn’t stand it that they lost the election? LOL) would put him high on the list of traitors, if that’s all it took. And, in fact, many of the things the Dems are doing now are things that the Reps set up when they had power and were after Bill Clinton. 8->
> That video should go viral because it's a perfect example of why the left are dangerous. They want to take away the right of free speech and worse yet, they feel justified in violating other people's rights. ---As I often state, I disagree with both liberal and conservatives. I see conservatives doing the same sort of things, just with different subjects. Remember the Trump promise to make everyone say “Merry Christmas” instead of ‘Happy Holidays”? Still waiting. Fox News goes on a rant every Dec and claims that the left is attacking Christmas because stores use Holidays instead of Christmas. And there was that flare up over the Starbuck’s Christmas coffee cups one year. Just as silly as the worst liberal. It violates religious freedom to make a baker do a gay wedding cake, but it’s OK to make Walmart employees say ‘Merry Christmas”. LOL
> This phone call with the Ukrainian President is bullshit. ---Nope, the pres clearly asked a foreign leader to aid him in breaking a Federal law. Good, solid stuff. As I say, Trump won’t be removed from office because of it, but it does demonstrate once again his lack of skill in international politics. And the thing with the Kurds has riled both the military and Republican leaders. He’s just a doofus. Again, his worst enemy is not the left, it’s his own mouth. If he’d just shut up and listen to experienced advisers, 99% of his problems would go away. But I believe he likes the reality show aspects of his management style and prefers chaos and yelling over actually getting work done.
> I personally can't wait for the 18th to arrive. ---And if the 18th comes and goes and nothing happens? What the Dems have done is not legally a coup attempt and they’ve done nothing that the Reps haven’t done in the past. Now I would be happy to see the leaders of both parties locked up or at least kicked out of office for accepting bribes and all that, but I’m not holding my breath. There’s nothing the Reps can do to the Dems because they literally have done exactly the same things and they can’t prosecute the Dems without exposing themselves to prosecution for the same things. And again, it's not illegal to mess with your foes. Nixon had to leave because he covered up the felonies that his staff did (burglaries), not because he was seeking political dirt on his foes. And the majority of Republicans still supported him, even after all the nasty bits were exposed.

Hi Fred:
After the 18th, we get Durham.
The cat is already out of the bag that the FISA court was deliberately lied to -- so that right there means they're in deep doo doo. Plus, numerous instances of lying under oath have already been cited by various sources who have already viewed some of the documentation.
Are you aware that the marine reserves have been given a stand-by order to be ready in case they have to assist authorities in the event civil unrest?
Looks like someone somewhere expects something might get a little out of hand when the report gets released, doesn't it?
Now I don't expect arrests then because my understanding is that committee only has the authority to suggest indictments.
But once the proof is out for all to see, then things will hopefully begin moving quickly.

>The cat is already out of the bag that the FISA court was deliberately lied to -- so that right there means they're in deep doo doo. Plus, numerous instances of lying under oath have already been cited by various sources who have already viewed some of the documentation. ---My sources don’t agree with your sources, so it’s possible that all those claims are not true. But, even if true, only the people who actually violated a law would be in trouble, not the entire Democratic party or such. But such claims do put the Trump people in a bad light. If the Mueller investigation didn’t find any wrongdoing (not true), then what does it matter how it began. It’s only if there’s something to hide that it makes a difference.
>are you aware that the marine reserves have been given a stand-by order to be ready in case they have to assist authorities in the event civil unrest? ---I can’t find any mention of this anywhere. Not sure what the purpose would be. It’s Trump’s people who are making public threats about using violence if he’s removed from office or loses the election. As I’ve said before, an actual coup (removing Trump and all the other Republicans by force) would not only be pretty much impossible but would also be very stupid to attempt. The Dems are on a roll right now. Although it’s way, way too early to make prediction about Nov 2020, if the election were held in 2019, the Dems would get both the presidency and the Senate. So why should they do anything now to mess with that? If in Oct 2020 things look better for Trump, then they might be more inclined to do something drastic or stupid. But not now.
---What do you think about Syria and the Kurds? Looks like Trump’s actions have freed ISIS soldiers and forced the Kurds to join up with the Syrians as protectors. Is this something Putin asked Trump to do? Because it’s very, very good news for Russia and makes Russia and Iran the leading forces in the Middle East. It’s also turned many former Trump supporters in the military and Republican Party against him. Doesn’t mean that they will turn Dem next year, but it might lessen his support, which was already sinking.
---BTW, Trump isn’t actually removing US troops from that area. He’s moving about 1,000 out of Syria, but he just added almost 3,000 more to Saudi Arabia. So he's actually increasing the number of US troops over there instead of pulling out.
