This morning I posted a link to an article on Big League Politics in regard to the left's attempt to "normalize" pedophilia in University courses. The topic has really upset me and I have had it on my mind all day because it is so terribly important that this sick and twisted attitude does not become mainstream. I got on my soapbox a bit this morning and after thinking about it, I realized how ineffective such an approach is when trying to persuade anyone that this is perhaps one of -- if not THE most vital issue in today's world. Children MUST be protected. I have decided that a far better argument lies with the the memories of those children who have already been lost to pedophiles. So -- from now until the 2020 election, I will highlight a particular case each day on this very string. These are cases I have reviewed over the years and each of them broke my heart. These children were the victims of pedophiles (who the left wishes you to view as "just another orientation choice"). If you read these cases that I plan to post daily, you will be an "informed voter" when you step into that ballot box. I am not putting these in any order other than to say that these particular cases are painful to read. #1. This case has formed the basis for several fictional adaptations -- most notably, an episode of "Cold Case". The actual case remains unsolved to this day. It's just another example of child abuse in an increasingly indifferent culture. Remember this unknown child when a leftist tells you that pedophilia is a "lifestyle choice." Ask yourself if this boy was given a "choice" to grow up and live "happily ever after". #2. The Boy In The Box www.historicmysteries.com/the-boy-in-the-box/-- Debutante

I completely agree that children must be protected, but completely disagree that the problem is caused by Democrats and them alone. In a couple of minutes we could put together a long list of Republican politicians who have been either convicted of or have been accused of molesting children. The problem existed before there was a Democratic party and would continue even if all the Democrats in the world vanished overnight. As I often point out, Republicans have ruled Texas since about 1984 and yet we still have child sex slaves and so on in every Texas city.
I think that if you visit some of the Democratic and left-wing sites around the internet, you'll find that they are just as opposed to child sex as you are. A single example does not mean that ALL Democrats favor that idea. Keep in mind that Roy Moore used to chase teen girls when he was in his 30's, and not only is he a Republican, but Trump endorsed him when he ran for office.
It's not a party problem, it's a person problem.

Hi Fred:
I disagree. The left are after the children. Little by little they are encroaching upon childhood innocence.
From drag queen story time to inappropriate (for the age group) so called sex education, to forced co-ed toilets the left is determined to sexualize children.
I read a weird article about a class teaching "self-exploration" to grammar school kids. I think it was a day or two ago -- I'll try to find the article for you.
The line has to be drawn somewhere and to me, it's trying to normalize pedophilia as a "lifestyle choice".
I'm case you're wondering why this is such an issue with me -- it's because I was one of the lucky ones. I did not realize it until I was much older, but I have a very strange memory which leads me to believe I was targeted by a pedophile when I was about four years old.
We lived (at the time) in a four flat building -- all of which were occupied by extended family. I was in the backyard by myself playing with my uncle's dog "Tootsie".
I remember that it was early morning because it was light but not terribly hot yet. Some man (in a red and black plaid shirt) had walked down the gangway and stopped just before entering the actual yard. He began talking to me. I honestly do not remember what he said.
All I remember was that all of a sudden my great-uncle John came running out of the back door. He ran straight to the wood pile and picked up a piece and ran after the man while swinging the wood like a club. I knew something was terribly wrong because my uncle was barefoot and only wearing pants.
After he chased the man off -- he ordered me to go back upstairs and play with my toys.
When I grew older, I put the pieces together. My great-uncle kept the screen windows open and always sat at the kitchen table reading his morning paper and drinking coffee. The man was standing in the gangway by my great-uncle's kitchen window. So my Uncle John obviously overheard what the man said and rushed out to save me from this man.
Now think about it. I was in my own back yard and I wasn't even safe. But thank God back in those days nobody questioned whether pedophilia was a "lifestyle choice". Everyone knew it was wrong and my uncle acted as men acted in those days. Real men -- who understood that protecting the weak and innocent meant you took a risk to save someone else.
This was my great-uncle by marriage and he wasn't a blood relation. But he saved me that day anyway. But people knew the difference between right and wrong in those days.
This is a very important issue Fred. The left can't go around teaching in university that pedophilia is just another acceptable form of sexuality. It is just too terrible to contemplate.
Most of the well known cases involve female victims, but little boys are at risk too.
What do you suggest? That we just allow the left to say it's okay to target little kids?
Fred, I might be a nobody -- but I say it stops here. This is where the line has to be drawn.
The stories of these child victims are completely horrifying. As you go through the details of each one, you'll find instances where you'll ask yourself -- how could this have happened? Because in some cases there wasn't any questionable lack of parental supervision where you could point to it and say that it happened because nobody was watching the child.
For example, tomorrow I am going to post an Alabama case where the child was molested and murdered by her Stepfather when the mother was hospitalized for a week.
So you see Fred, the monsters are lurking everywhere. What we don't need are idiot professors convincing people there are no monsters.
The university in that article may be one example. It is one example too many.

Since I mentioned this case in my reply to Fred, I'll put it up early. This is a lesser known case, but I chose it because it shows that monsters can be anywhere -- just waiting for the opportunity to strike. Since this case is also old, there is oddly little mention of it under the victim's name. This article comes from a source about the perpetrator of this crime. #4. Hi Fred: One more article -- it seems I was "behind the times". The UK style "sex education program" has already crossed the pond. www.thenewamerican.com/culture/education/item/19181-sex-education-for-five-year-olds-pushed-by-pedophilesJust so we're on the same page. It's the left who is pushing the sexualization of children and setting them up for pedophiles. At the same time, they are attempting to make pedophilia an "alternate lifestyle" as opposed to s sick and twisted aberration. The left speaks for the pedophiles. The right speaks for the victims. That's the issue. --Debutante

Again, I agree that there's a problem, but I disagree that all Democrats agree with the left's efforts. I believe that most democrats would agree with you. And there are certainly Republicans who are child molesters and such. As I often say, I'd like to totally get rid of parties and vote for individuals. There are good and bad folk in both parties and party affiliation is simply not a good way to judge people. Just my opinion.

Hi Fred:
Well, you know I am no fan of the Democrats due my personal experience with them. And since I never make the same mistake twice, I am unlikely to put much faith in them as a whole.
I do know that child molesters come from all kinds of political affiliations. Even "Q" was pretty clear about that.
But that's only part of my concern. The larger part is setting up the children by sexualizing them with age inappropriate materials and at the same time trying to convince the general population that pedophilia is an alternate choice rather than an aberration.
To my knowledge, it's the left pushingg these sex courses starting in kindergarten, and drag queen story time and mixed sex toilets. And from what I've seen it's also the left who are trying to normalize pedophilia.
If it were up to me -- I would make it a crime to teach people that a criminal act is "normal behavior". If, for the sake of argument, there is some individual in that class struggling with such urges -- it is highly irresponsible (If not criminal in a moral sense) to give that person the impression that society approves of such acts.
These people are clearly not playing with a full deck. I was looking for a certain case I wanted to post and couldn't quite remember the victim's name. So I did some additional research and found an even more gruesome case where the child was months old.
I lost my spirit for any kind of activism when that character pulled that gun on me when I was fourteen. At least, I thought I did. But maybe it was just a case of there not being anything I really cared enough about to pick up my pen and use the gift God gave me. I have never been at a loss for words.
These children whose cases I am posting -- they are in the news for a short time and then largely forgotten by everyone except their families and, I think, certain police detectives who take their work personally. But how could anyone not?
These children -- I look at their photos and I think of my own kids at that age. I watched my children like a hawk. And I watched their friends too, as if they were my own children. As long as a kid was visiting in my house, or on my property they were my responsibility.
I no longer have children, but my heart is in my throat whenever an "Amber alert" flashes across my phone.
So what do we do Fred? How do we stop these politicians from bringing age inappropriate materials into the lives of innocent children? And how do we stop leftist professors from justifying pedophilia?

>To my knowledge, it's the left pushingg these sex courses starting in kindergarten, and drag queen story time and mixed sex toilets. And from what I've seen it's also the left who are trying to normalize pedophilia. ---Although the left votes for Democrats, most Democrats are not part of the far left any more than most Republicans are part of the far right, White Nationalists, etc. I don't personally know any Democrats who are in favor of the things you'e talking about. I say, put the blame on the people doing the bad thing, not on people who are not part of the problem.
>How do we stop these politicians from bringing age inappropriate materials into the lives of innocent children? And how do we stop leftist professors from justifying pedophilia? ---The usual stuff - parents talking to school boards, voting out bad politicians (of both parties), public complaining and so on. No person or group exists in a vacuum and if the locals put in the effort, they can effect local change.
---Of course, part of the problem is getting people to agree. The Austin school district has announced its sex ed courses for next year and many Evangelical parents are protesting that there should be no sex ed in schools for any age. Sex ed is for home only, they say. Of course, when I was a kid there was no sex ed at all, home or school, and so we learned everything from the older kids. In the first grade I was taught about sex by a third-grader, who gave me all the details. Of course, he was completely wrong about almost everything, and I didn't know any better for years. But that's what happens. If you don't have any sex ed, kids learn from older siblings, students, etc. Which leads to unwanted pregnancies and all sort of other problems. Ever hear of the Coca-Cola douche"? Kids at my high school believed that having the girl squirt Coca-Cola up her vagina after sex was good birth control. And that's why I favor sex ed in schools. Although parents should be able to opt their kids out, if it bothers them. They'll be told about the classes by the other kids, so no big deal. 8->

When I was growing up, I was not allowed much in the line of personal freedom. The reason I couldn't go anywhere, do anything, or associate with most people was always the same. What happened to the "Grimes sisters" haunted my mother-- so much so that she was convinced that if I stepped out of the house, the same fate would befall me. In my youth, I found this frustrating and unfair. Truthfully, it caused a lot of bad feelings between my mother and me. It wasn't until I became a mother myself that I began to see her point of view. You see, this case happened in Chicago when I was two years old. And the Grimes sisters lived less than a mile from where I grew up. The killer was never caught. No wonder my mother was constantly on edge... I mention this case and its impact on my life to illustrate the ramifications this kind of thing has on a community. The fear never goes away. I never thought to ask my friends how often they heard lectures about the Grimes girls. I suspect as often as I did. And I heard about them every time I wanted to leave the house....up until the day I got married. #6. The Grimes Sisters the-line-up.com/the-grimes-sisters--Debutante

I grew up in a world with a very strong demarcation between male and female. Boys could do just about anything they wanted to, regardless of how stupid, and girls were kept in sight of an adult until they were 16 or so, and then still very limited. Boys who had lots of sex in high school or college were looked upon as heroes, while sexually active girls were whores. At least until the late 1960's, when hippies and the sexual revolution came along. I went to college at a state university, but it was run by Baptists and had Baptist rules. Girls couldn't leave their dorm without signing out in a book that said where they were going and what time they would be back. Girls couldn't wear pants on campus expect when a norther came and it was below a certain temperature. Girls had to be back in their dorms by 10 PM on weeknights. Boys basically had no rules, except a dorm inspection now and then that required some cleaning up. Even though it was a state college, Baptist preachers were brought in to lecture the student body on a regular basis. Students used to play Hearts at the student union and the Baptist students had a big meeting one time about whether it was a sin to play hearts on a Sunday.
Quite a different world in those days. Still, date rape, teen pregnancies, etc. were common events. Just not talked about.

Hi Fred:
The kind of thing you're talking about was the stuff the nuns used to tell us. Looking back on it, it's kind of bizarre that celibate women were so convinced that all men were so lecherous that they could barely control themselves.
So from the nuns, I had the impression that men were more dangerous than most actually were. Only one man I dated could have been said to have problems with self control in that area -- but other than that I found most to be amenable to my rules in those areas.
But for my mom -- it definitely was those Grimes girls. It was an obsession with her and I was sick of hearing about them.
Truthfully, I was not stupid. I was "street smart". I wouldn't dream of hitchhiking. I wouldn't stop to talk to any stranger who pulled up beside me in a car -- I'd just begin running.
If I was about to pass an alley I'd walk into the street far enough to give me a head start in case anyone might be hiding there. I always kept in groups in well lighted areas and carried an ear piercing whistle.
But none of that mattered to my mother. When I say I couldn't go anywhere that's exactly what I mean. She felt that other than school (which was required by law) going anywhere else was just too dangerous.
Those Grimes girls -- I have no idea what they did that night they disappeared but I will tell you that I paid for their mistake. I regret never asking my school friends if their mom's were that obsessed with the Grimes sisters.
I will admit that being "street smart" helps but even that might not necessarily save a person in all cases. But by that same token, a person has to live. You can't stay locked up like a prisoner in the house forever.

Alas, in most parts of the world, even the US, females are viewed as property. Are you familiar with the Incel movement?
From Wikipedia: "involuntary celibates" who define themselves as unable to find a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one...Discussions in incel forums are often characterized by resentment, misanthropy, self-pity, self-loathing,misogyny, racism, a sense of entitlement to sex, and the endorsement of violence against sexually active people...At least four mass murders, resulting in 45 deaths, have been committed in North America by men who have either self-identified as incels or who had mentioned incel-related names and writings in their private writings or Internet postings."
These guys are seriously ill, but, as is common, blame everyone else except themselves for their problems. They tend to be right-wing, anti-feminist and such.
Again, not disagreeing that there are some goofy folk on the left, just saying that the world is balanced and for every left loon there is an equal-but-opposite right loon. 8-<

Hi Fred:
I've heard some vague comments about that group but isn't it just a new name for what we used to call "losers" back in the day?
Not to be mean, but some guys are just plain creepy. I'll give you an example of what I mean.
There was this one guy I sort of knew in college. I say "sort of" because come to think of it, our conversations never were of the normal variety from the moment he plopped himself down in a chair at my table in the university cafeteria.
There was no way this fellow had a chance with me. I do not like beards. That being said -- I am always polite when someone addresses me, so when he began talking, I politely listened. And I listened politely, each and every time he plopped himself down over the course of our acquaintance.
Aside from his name, his major and the fact that he was on a med school trajectory-- over all that time -- I can't say I knew anything about him other than the fact that although highly intelligent -- he was just plain weird.
He went from discussing generalities (for example, specific information taught in classes he was taking) to bizarre specifics. And I do mean bizarre.
I never dated this person, or gave any indication that he was more than a casual acquaintance. Yet, one morning after he plopped himself down in a chair -- his usual chatter shifted into, believe it or not, how thing would "be" after we were married.
He informed me that I would be allowed one mink coat and several pieces of expensive jewelry but that he had no intention of allowing too much lest I become "spoiled". I kid you not. This man was TOTALLY delusional. To that point, we had discussed nothing more serious than class material or some skit on Saturday Night Live (which I watched in those days because it was actually funny back then).
But that guy truly was creepy. He stroked his beard a lot in what he fancied was "deep contemplation" and because he wanted to be a psychiatrist -- he was always attempting to analyze me which I found both amusing and off putting at the same time.
Anyhow, the point is that the guys who are what you'd call "losers" sort of bring it on themselves. He was clueless to the fact that I was not giving him any feedback to indicate I was the least bit interested in him as a man.
And what he was doing -- the analyzing everything I said -- was truly very creepy.
I don't even know if what I've described here gives you any clue what vibes this guy gave off. But underneath it all, I felt he could be into some weird stuff if he ever managed to get himself a girlfriend. I just knew it wasn't going to be me. And I shudder to think of how his patients fared if he finished his program..
Thing is...creepy guys don't think they are creepy. So I suppose I can see why they'd think they were being mistreated. They really are clueless to social cues.
So is that sort of what you mean by incels?

Yep. But their main characteristics are (1) they blame everyone else except themselves for their state and (2) they feel like they are owed sex. If it weren't for the damned feminists and leftists, they could have all the sex they wanted.
Pretty much everyone makes fun of them, and they certainly deserve it. 8->

We need better screening of people who work with kids. Many priests, coaches, Scout masters, etc., have been convicted of child molesting. Yes, sometimes it's a stranger who abducts a kid. But I think that more often it's an adult in power who molests kids for many years, and the kids are too scared to speak up. I don't know the actual numbers, but I bet "stranger danger" is less common than kids being molested by family or those who work with kids. It's all very, very depressing. 8-<

Hi Fred:
You know what the sad part is? I said I would post a case a day until the election. The sad part is that there are actually enough of these cases to last to the election and even beyond.
There are just so many of them. And many offenders have multiple victims. Look at Gacy. After all these years they still haven't identified all the young men he killed. I remember the winter that case broke -- the cops were out there in the cold digging up those poor dead boys. It was so horrible. The whole city.was shocked -- how could the neighbors not notice this was going on right under their noses?
That's why this crazy attempt to call pedophilia an "alternate form of sexuality" and normalize it enrages me so much.
The case I posted yesterday of that poor little girl buried alive with her stuffed animal broke my heart. That poor baby in a plastic bag suffocating all alone in the dark. And they want "normalize" pedophiles???
It's just too horrible to contemplate.

This particular case has an online video which is worth watching -- if for no other reason than it totally refutes the notion that pedophilia is just another "lifestyle choice". The murderer is shown in an interview with police detectives, wherein he matter-of-factly describes his actions taken the day he killed his victim. His affect is so unconcerned and lacking in any sense of remorse that it clearly illustrates this is not a normal mindset by any stretch of the imagination.
