I recommend checking out the links to the articles in his video. There is a madman at the helm of Brazil not too dissimilar from the madman in Washington, and he's endangering humanity's global civilization with his antics.

What are you worried about?
According to Postmodernism, Truth is only what we agree on.
Obviously the people of Brazil think it's better to burn the Amazon Rainforest. Otherwise they wouldn't do it. Therefore according to their culture, burning the Amazon Rainforest is a good thing.
What right do we in the West have to impose our values on another culture? None. Imposing our values on the Brazilians is RACISM! And you don't want to be a RACIST, do you?

It's not a Red Herring. If Postmodernism is correct, then there are no Absolute Truths and the conclusions of Western Science are only social constructs.
Therefore burning the Amazon Rainforest is no danger if the Brazilian people have decided that it is not a danger.
In addition, since the population of Brazil consists of many People of Color, it would be Racist for the white people in the West to tell them how to live their lives.
Of course if you reject these Postmodernist principles and believe that Truth is really not "socially constructed", we can have a conversation about this.

So let me get this clear: You refuse to have a conversation with me?
And you specifically refuse to have a conversation with me from this point on, because....? Why exactly?

I am not refusing to have a conversation with you. In fact, I am having a conversation with you.
My point is that because the Brazilian people have decided that burning the Amazon Rainforest is a good thing, then according to their culture, it IS a good thing.
And who are we to tell them otherwise?
This view is in accord with Postmodern principles, isn't it?
Of course is you want to reject Postmodern Principles and claim that the Facts of Reality are what they are even if some culture says otherwise, well that would be another story.

I see that you have no intention to discuss this issue in good faith. Goodbye.

Wrong. You CLAIM that, but you are not giving any evidence for your claim. All we have is your totally unsupported assertion.
