Earlier this morning Barr was on television assuring the public that despite the death ofJeffrey Epstein, justice would be served.
There's one gal accusing Prince Andrew and the palace issued a denial. Someone speaking for the girl doubled down and Prince Andrew was forced to say a few words at some conference.
The thing is...just what does Barr plan to do to get "justice" when the accusation is against a prince of the UK?
I suppose this qualifies as one of those "international incidents" that always has diplomats shaking in their shoes.
I have to wonder...what is Barr going to do?
Barr can nail Hollywood actors/actresses, politicians, billionaires -- but I can't see how he's going to pursue any kind of investigation against Andrew. Plus -- one source I read says Prince Charles's name appears on the plane manifest for one of the flights to the island. That's even more problematic because he is heir to the throne.
Or will the Brits finally just say to hell with it because of this scandal and get rid of the monarchy after Queen Elizabeth goes to her reward?

The royals have had many scandals over the years, so I doubt that they'll be dumped any time soon. Individuals might be taken out of the line of succession for certain acts, but that's the worst that could happen.

I doubt that he can even do much of that. People who can afford to spend millions on lawyers will not go down easily. And there are plenty of rich Republicans, corporate leaders, etc., who are among the potentially accused and who give big bucks to the Reps. So both Dem and Rep will band together to stay safe. Which should be easy enough so long as there is no more evidence that eyewitnesses. Look at all the eyewitnesses who have accused Trump of various things over the past 3 years and how little effect any of those accusations has had. And since Trump was a good friend of Epstein before he was exposed, went on the plane, went to the island, had Epstein parties at Mar-a-Lago, etc., Barr will not be permitted to pursue a full investigation. Doesn't matter what he says.

Hi Fred:
No -- everything I've read suggested that Trump hardly knew him.
Besides -- whenever Mike came to town (which admittedly wasn't often) he'd give me all the gossip behind the scenes.
Whenever he spoke of Trump -- he'd say that he was good pals with JFK Jr. Apparently, they were often seen together in the New York social scene. He told me that talking to them was just like talking to "regular people" and that despite their money neither one was a jerk. He especially thought JFK Jr was a "nice guy" because they often talked. He never mentioned under what circumstances that came about.
Mike did tell me some stuff about kinky sex in the upper echelons of the New York social scene, but it was in regard to a female politician and her lesbian relationship that was hidden from the general public but known to them. There were a few other things he told me about her and weird sex.
Also -- he told me about several high level politicians taking sex vacations to Taiwan (apparently a big hub for underage shennanighans).
Believe me, if there were actual dirt on Trump, Mike would have known about it and he would have told me because he told me about other people. He knew a lot and didn't mind telling me because Chicago was far enough away that it didn't matter if I knew. There was no one to tell.
