If Marxists invented postmodernism to hide the bad aspects of Marxism, then how come that several of the most influential and famous postmodernists (e.g. Derrida, Foucault) were outspoken critics of Marxism and communist politics?
Were they lying? Where is Hicks' evidence that Derrida and Foucault were lying in all their works and interviews?

What exactly were these criticisms of Marxism that you are referring to? Do you have any direct quotes?
Also who exactly made the claim that postmodernists tried to "hide" the bad aspects of Marxism? I never saw that claim in either Hicks or Peterson. Again, do you have a direct quote?

You could be "critical" in all sorts of ways. When I was a kid, I heard my father and his friends "criticize" the Soviet Union. They were all Communist Party members.
So what exactly are these criticisms of Marxism that Foucault and Derrida made?
