The following article contains "adjustments" the kind of which my brother refers to as "happy horse****". Adjustments of this sort have been going on since the late '60's (albeit not openly admitted). Hence, the high reputation universities are open to the very wealthy and minorities. Middle class kids -- well, nobody cares if things are "fair" for them. When my brother graduated high school neither he, nor the other top ten students ranked academically received one dime in scholarships. None of these kids were wealthy -- but they were not "minorities". It was 1969 -- and the first scholarship went to a student academically ranked at number twenty-seven. Students eleven through twenty-six were also screwed, but that seemed less shocking than the entire top ten being passed over. These bright young men found other ways to finance their university educations (at "good" universities, even if they weren't at ones that the sheer name thereof would "open doors".) But the "ivy league" was out of the question for financial reasons. I've no doubt that these proposed SAT adjustments will completely ignore the middle class. That's the way it always is -- these kids get to work their ass off -- fight their way to the top by sheer determination and then be told how "privileged" they are! So yes -- I have no doubt that the proposed "adjustments" in this article are more "happy horse****" devised by the bleeding hearts who see nothing wrong with screwing one person over to assist another. The only bright star in the system: If you manage to win and scratch your way to the top of your profession against all odds -- you have the pleasure of telling your alma mater to "shove it" when they come around asking for donations. Or as my brother likes to tell them, "Go ask number twenty-seven." But it seems that isn't an option for them -- number twenty-seven didn't do that well in life... www.foxnews.com/us/sat-to-use-adversity-score-for-students-applying-to-college--Debutante

Disgusting racism.
No longer are people going do be judged as individuals. Now all you have to do is belong to the right group.

McCans:
As I said -- this isn't anything new. It's the same old happy horse**** repackaged in another venue.
"Fact checkers" only check facts that support their own point of view. Who checks your "fact checkers" to check that they are checking the facts correctly?
The actual proof in this situation lies with people who have been screwed over by these kind of "adjustments".
The top ten of my brother's class of 1969 are proof positive of the happy horse**** that has been going on for decades. Whatever they ended up with in life is the result of their own initiative. It was obvious at the time that true scholarship didn't matter. Their GPA and SAT scores meant nothing. The bleeding hearts decided they weren't going to get a dime because they were not minorities.
To be clear -- my brother did not attend a Mickey Mouse high school. How many schools do you know that still teach Latin? He studied that four years,in addition to an intense honors program, as did the rest of the top ten. But number 27 (who took regular classes and two years of Spanish) got the first scholarship. And the rest went to minorities even further down in class ranking.
Guess what -- as adults, those top ten are all Republicans, *somebody* in their respective fields, and one of them holds an important political appointment. But any one of them would tell you they got screwed over in terms of scholarships.
This kind of thing has been going on a long time in many guises. So it's really nothing new -- it's just more out in the open instead of behind closed doors.

No problem. There are other sources that criticize Sourcewatch. This one for example:
"SourceWatch focuses on the perceived misdeeds of conservative leaning organizations while ignoring similar tactics used by liberal organizations. [19] For example, in 2013 a commentator writing for The Hill noted that numerous SourceWatch articles attack past links between free-market groups and the tobacco industry, however SourceWatch’s articles conveniently omit an in-depth exploration of the substantial funding that the tobacco industry has given to advocacy groups affiliated with labor unions.[20]
The commentator also argued SourceWatch’s selective ideological attacks on nonprofits are marred by the website’s hypocrisy and double standards.[21]In its criticism of SourceWatch’s double-standard, the commentator proclaimed, “undisclosed donations are only taboo if a nonprofit lacks the proper left-wing credentials.” [22]...
In 2013, SourceWatch was accused of seeking to condemn anonymous contributions, which it called “dark money,” in politics while at the same time its parent organization, CMD, had taken large anonymous donations. [23] In 2011, CMD took in two anonymous contributions through a donor-advised fund worth $520,000, approximately 60% of CMD’s annual 2011 budget. [24]
In another example, SourceWatch’s page dedicated to the Wisconsin Club For Growth, published research blasting the free-market Club as the center of a “dark money web,” funded by “top Republican donors and Koch-connected dark money conduits.” However, as the conservative Watchdog.org website points out, SourceWatch’s parent organization was funded by some of the most politically active Democratic “dark money” organizations, including over $160,000 from the left-wing Tides Foundation.[25]"

No problem. There are other sources that criticize Sourcewatch. Yes, and none of the sources you list state that their assessment is inaccurate or wrong. The only 'criticism' they have is that Sourcewatch focuses on right-wing sources. So, do you have any reason to dismiss SourceWatch's assessment of Fox News as a Republican propaganda outlet?

If they focus on right-wing sources, then they are also a propaganda outlet, the same as Fox News.

The But rejoice, now that Bob has finally come out in favor of concentration camps for brown people, you'll finally receive the adulation and sagely nods for your bullshit propaganda that you deserve. There's a reason the symbol of the Democratic party is a jackass. The declassifications are on the horizon, the indictments are being gradually unsealed, and Huber has been a busy fellow. "Dang 'em, Dang 'em, they ought get a rope and hang 'em, high from the highest tree..." Just paraphrasing an old Roger Miller song here, but the tune works! Smell the treason! By the way, that story happens to be true. Why do you think Trump rallies have 30,000 people or more everywhere he goes? Stupid Democrats thought they could screw people over for decades and they would forget about it. They didn't. You can't screw one group over to "help" another without consequences. I have nothing against brown people per se; I just believe in a merit based system. If you are the best qualified person for a scholarship, admission to a university, or a job; it should be given to that person regardless of skin color. Meaning no special treatment. --Debutante

I never called you a Nazi. But here you are using Hitler's "Big Lie" technique.
I never made any such claim about "concentrations camps for brown people". And you know it.

I never called you a Nazi. No, you call me a Fascist, which is very very different indeed! Yes, I am literally Hitler. Thank you for being honest in your disdain for me and my opinions. You have repeatedly defended your country's immigration policy as necessary to protect yourself against invaders. How else am I supposed to read that than as support for "detention" camps? You can always come out and condemn these camps if you feel like it, but so far you've spent most of your time attacking me for bringing them up.[/quote]

I've addressed many comments to you in the past.
In fact, I am saving an article just for you earmarked for the next time you introduce a certain topic. It's been sitting on my desktop....just waiting.
You've introduced that particular topic before, so it's only a matter of time.
See, I think of you....and plan ahead for your edification.
Lol!

No. I am just waiting patiently for you to once again illustrate the avatar of your political party on this topic....then I will post the article. Not that you don't do it every day -- but I prefer to wait until you expound upon this particular topic.
There are pedophile rings being taken down with increasing regularity. If you haven't read the reports, it's not my fault.
And you really have to stop being so jealous that women let Trump wine them, dine them, and whatever. You Dems keep forgetting that part. He said they LET him.
He's a billionaire, reputedly charming to women, and that's the way it goes.
I can only assume your refusal to believe this is based on your own failures in that area.
Perhaps if you sought out a dating coach, you could improve your ....technique...

Did you finally get your hands on medical marihuana and were tripping balls while you wrote this? And by "reports" you mean anonymous Qanon posts on crackpot sites like 8chan. LOL what? I was neither judging you nor your celebrity crush. LOL! Thanks for the offer, but I already have a girlfriend.
