It's all in the interpretation when it comes to dreams, isn't it? And although I don't own a technicolor dreamcoat, I'm pretty sure I got these latest symbols loud and clear. This was not an ordinary run of the mill dream.
The place [courtesy of an area code] is definite. Who dreams of area codes?
The rest open to some interpretation [although not so much as to what generally, but as to specifics]. 1. I would not know who to tell.
2. If I did know, they would not believe me until after it occurred.
3. After it occurred, they might think *I* had something to do with it.
4. Best not to get involved.
I am poor choice as the recipient for such information from the "other side". I am a "once in awhile" receiver with a tendency to be cowardly. This stuff needs to go to somebody with a reputation that might be believed.
I will do two things. Pray for people who live in that area code. Roll over and go back to sleep. I don't realistically see that being sent information that I can do nothing about is in any way helpful. What are they thinking on the "other side"?

Sometimes a dream is just a dream and doesn't mean anything. Gong back to sleep is the right thing to do. Unless you really believe that you have information that could help people, in which case you are morally bound to tell them. If you don't want to become personally involved, make an anonymous report to the local authorities.

First, you mention an area code, so this event would be happening in the U.S. Secondly, since you don't know who to tell, it's something not just specific to only a local police jurisdiction. Third, if you're worried about possibly being thought to be involved in it, then it's not some kind of natural disaster and can't be an attack from a foreign government. Fourth, it can't be a typical terrorist attack because how could you be involved with that? So, the only conclusion I can come to is some kind of domestic terrorism event like the Las Vegas shooting but not necessarily a shooting.

There are so many ways to trace people. And I wouldn't want to give the impression that this is something I can do at will. I can't. I never could control it and I wouldn't want to be put into a position where people would be badgering me to come up with more than I was given. --Debutante

I will tell you that because I understand you had enough excitement yesterday with some kind of false alarm for incoming missles. Breitbart had a huge article about it late last night and I thought about you because I know you worry about rocket man. I have no idea why I got this. The "other side" very rarely sends me anything national or global. The last time was during the Gulf war-- so it has been a long time. That time I wrote the Archbishop and he took care of it. But that time it was a vision, not a dream and had religious overtones. This was just a dream with symbolism and none of it was religious so I don't think the church will take it off my hands. I really wish the "other side" would just send me stuff about my own family and leave me out of things involving ...issues I would have to involve authorities in to prevent. I am the wrong person for this. I am too much of a coward to get involved. But now I feel "Catholic guilt". --Debutante

You didn't have to say it wasn't about Hawaii because you already made it obvious yourself that it couldn't even be something like that.
What I don't understand is why post this dream in the first place if you weren't going to do anything about it? What would you want from us?

Sometimes I just need to get things off my chest (so to speak).
I felt...conflicted. Still do, but realistically don't see a resolution.
Ah well...what will be, will be.

Is it even possible to report anything anonymously possible nowadays? Type up the information. Print it. Use boring, generic, untraceable paper. Do not sign it or indicate your identity in any way. Touch the paper, envelope, and stamp only while wearing gloves (fingerprints, DNA). Moisten the glue strip on the envelope somehow other than licking it (DNA). Do not put a return address on it. Mail it to the police. Or call them from a pay phone. And don't say anything like, "I had this dream and . . . " if you want them to even listen to you.

And you don't want to say what it is because you might be accused of intentionally scaring people. And maybe in the future if such a thing happens, they'll look at you first? How many people does this involve? One or multiple? Oh, and to add...do you have a time frame? If not, then your dream is useless. Could be tomorrow or ten years from now.

No time frame. Would be afraid to say more because I'd have HS up my kazoo. It was a dream...but I am pretty sure it was a precognative one.

Absolutely. I don't say everything I want to say either.

Police get false warnings, false confessions, etc. all the time. They will ignore anything that doesn't have "facts" to back it up. So I wouldn't worry about warning anyone. They will just ignore you. Even if they believed you, what could be done to prevent the event? Probably nothing.
Take the Las Vegas shooting as an example. If the cops had an anonymous warning that someone was going to shoot from a hotel window at the crowd, what could they do? They couldn't close the hotel or cancel the music based on a vague, anonymous tip. If the shooter's name was mentioned, they might interview him. If they could find him. And maybe that would be enough to scare him off. But he still might do the same thing anther time or place.
I take it from your posts that you don't have a time frame for the event. That's even worse. So imagine that the cops get an anonymous message that such-and-such is going to happen, but I don't know when. Might be tomorrow, might be 10 years away. Again, what could they do to prevent it? Why would they even bother to try?
No need for guilt on your part.
