I don't get it Debutante. Why don't you go post on a pro-Trump message board? You would miss the people here? But how many are still left here?
You know, I tried to save a little of what kind of connection I had here. In fact, you suggested it with Ten Days in the Valley. Well, if it isn't over yet, it just about is. And I went ahead and purchased the series on Amazon so that I could view the five more episodes without commercials and waiting for you before I went further then the 6th episode.
And then I suggested starting another story line. But you said you had wait until after the holidays. Well, it's been after the holidays for a while now.
For myself, FACTS is still the same for me--NOT for me
I will eventually delete my account.
I would just ask that no one contact me, just in case someone would care to.
Good Bye

Lily,
I haven't been posting lately because I am pissed off. Not at anyone on FACTS, but at some people in my personal life including my brother. On Dec. 30th, I wrote 5 leters (almost identical) about a topic near and very dear to my heart. One of course to my brother, one to my first cousin, two to very close friends, and one to a friend who isn't that close but whom I felt might have an interest in the non-personal side of the subject matter.
Of the five letters I sent -- only one person responded -- the friend who I didn't consider that close. Not only did he comment upon the non-personal aspects of my letter -- but also acknowledged the part that meant a great deal to me. I would have thought that my brother (for certain) would have answered this, and certainly my first cousin. I am royally pissed at both. And I am disappointed at two friends who should know how much this subject meant to me.
So I have been pouting since Dec. 30th and wondering if it is worth the time and effort to write my brother and cousin and tell both of them they are ********. And whether or not I should totally cut those two "friends" out of my life. This letter was about something I was really excited about --- and was something I was thrilled about (not my personal accomplishment -- but a family member whom I am very proud of *not now living*).
This has been occupying my mind and so although I've checked the board -- I haven't really posted. I did reply to the one string on Trump only because I find Paul Joseph Watson's videos generally funny. Some of them are a scream because he delivers them so dead-pan. And you have to admit -- if you watched it all the way though -- the person with the hood running around trailing the tin cans really is funny.

Okay, that explains that you were too busy. I understand.
But at this point, I've lost my interest.
I'm sorry.

Lily,
Give it some time.
If I wasn't so pissed at these people I'd be posting more -- but this is something that really got to me. In a nutshell...many years ago -- my father participated in something that was extremely important in terms of world history. This project was ...preserved and is being sent on an anniversary tour. I am very excited at the prospect of seeing this ...monumental accomplishment my father helped bring into being. I am ROYALLY PISSED my brother showed no interest in something his own father had a hand in, and my cousin -- that's his Godfather.
The good friends knew my father well. The casual friend met my Dad maybe once.
Still...they ought to realize this meant a lot to me.
Anyhow...don't make up your mind yet. I'll get over this once I get a chance to figure out how to handle this. Can you write a letter to people telling them you think they are jackasses for not responding to something they should know has great meaning to you?

Okay, the thing is if we start something, I want to be able to depend on you. We did have a good time with the other TV series (which I forget the name now and I got kicked off trying to look for it). That's all I really ask. And I do always brag about how a friend and I together created a great novelette.

Lily,
We will do it. I promise. I am just so excited about seeing this on tour on one hand and angry [mostly at my brother, truth be told] for showing no interest.
This was NOT a little thing. I guarantee you everyone has heard of this. They just don't know all the people who worked on the project.
I am very proud of my Dad for his contribution. And I'd like to plant my foot firmly in brother's rear end.
Think about what genre you want to work in...

Debutante - I would be very interested in knowing what project your father worked on that's going on tour. I might even go see it if it comes to southern California. Only if you're ready to share the information, of course.

Debutante, did you record any others of the Ten Days in the Valley?
As far as genre, I'm saying some kind of mystery because that way when it's solved that would end the story. Other genres maybe it might go on too long. But I would be open to others that would have a clear beginning and ending. I suppose anything that has some kind of conflict would work.
But the way, my Windows wouldn't boot this morning. It was missing the access to the boot --StopCode. I had to use several of the options it gave me to try and after a couple of hours finally the option to Restore worked. There were about seven options. Thank goodness that one worked. Some others didn't. But anyway, why I saying this is that I haven't turned off this computer all day, worrying that when I turn it on again, I might have the same problem and that maybe this next time it won't work and I'll probably have to get it fixed. The stupid thing is when it was telling me about my problem, it gave me a website for information. But how could I do that when I can't even get Windows running--at all.
So, let me know about my questions after you think about it.

Lily,
I've recorded the episodes of "Ten Days in the Valley", but haven't watched it yet. Beside what I've already told you about -- I've been watching some really odd things on YouTube. They're about ancient civilizations and weird artifacts that don't quite "fit in" with accepted time lines in terms of development. The people who make them postulate advanced civilizations wiped out by catastrophic events and claim that places like the Smithsonian are covering it up because it contradicts their established work.
I find this stuff --- weirdly fascinating. And of course, I wonder how much of it is true. Are there actually 30 ft. skeletons that have been dug up and hidden away? Advanced scientific oddities that aren't allowed to see the light of day?
Perhaps our mystery can be in such a setting....an archaeology mystery?
This stuff is really fascinating....
But if it doesn't interest you at all we can go elsewhere in time and space...

Hmm...an archaeology mystery. Sounds interesting. Except that I know even less about archaeology than the little I know about forensics and P.I. investigations. But might work.
I'll go see if can find some of that ancient civilizations stuff.
I'll get back to you if you don't get back to me first.
